does he WS with Mala on? if so that could be the reason for the spike, quadruple attacking one of the hits, either way very nice damage :D

5500 seems possible with a 4hit Shoha. Thats the highest I've seen outside abyssea, well done.

Seems possible with just 2x double attack, considering Lv95 Amano, super luck on scoring highest pDIF on 4 hits (@2.72), 300 TP, ele gorget/belt, and overwhelm.
5440/5.85 (fTP @300+gorgetbelt)/2.72(max pDIF)/1.19(overwhelm) = 287
287-124(amano95 base damage)-21(fSTR cap) = 143 WSC
143/0.85(alpha) = 168 total STR.
so yeah..

change the domaru +2 to twilight or ace's, +10 TP return on your WS isn't going to bump you up to super stardom in any parses, in fact it'll just hurt you overall.

prob has more to do with the fact that when domaru+2 is augmented through ToM, it enhances overwhelm by 4% i think it was

Anyway aside was joking, since I doesn't know what to merit in ws, does you guys suggest to merit shoha, or like me think better wait because might be gimp soon?
Merits are hard to get.
Nah isn't hard, but since I don't know what to merit, was wondering if shoha is a good choice. The problem is, I don't know, have a feeling will be gimp soon or later :x. Asking because wanted resurrect my SAM, after Abyssea killed it...

my gimpurai is far from optimal, but i like what it can do.

I doesn't have Masamune, the only GK I have is Kikugosaku tho :X
Make another empy would be a suicide after finish Gandiva with OMGdoomguy (Bhukis) duo and Im pretty sure my friend would kill me XD.
Spectator takes 25% more damage IIRC (that or either have very low defense). My Last Stand can score better on it than worms in La Theine.

as for the spheroids thing, im not aware of any of their stats, just hit that en route to a mech menace party z_z. also worms have considerably less hp than higher level monsters in other zones id think.
A lot of people say this new weapon skill beats fudo. WS to WS yes it does, but remember what sam is the master of skillchains. Fudo makes light, if you time JA's right, you can pull off 4 light SC's in a row. So they are a great combo, fudo when JA's allow it and Shoha when they do not.
Because you're the only DD ever using ws ever on any mob ever, right?

The word zerg comes up in VW, Abby, and other end game events a lot more than it use to. For you to tell a sam not to SC on a mob is just plan stupid unless you are in situation where you should not pull hate. It is called learning to play your job right. Judge the situation and listen! know when your tank has enough hate, or can get it back from you. But to tell a sam that SC should not be used unless soloing is like telling a war to main sword cause it does more damage.
Did you just completely gloss over the words "not reliable"? "Not worth doing" is a functional result of one's inability to reliably self-skillchain in group play if your group members are playing with any degree of competence.
In other words, I'm not going to stop using Exenterator every 4 seconds because you want to be cute and self-skillchain. Go back to 2006 maybe?

Check the math on 10str vs WSing at 110tp. (save tp+10)
