I may be wording it wrong but it made old content more accessible to more people, if that makes sense.
I may not have outside, but if it did exist it isn't going to be close to that.

[Dev] Final Limit Break Quest

It allowed a new flux of people to do it not just big LS hoping for said piece of gear here and there. Those goddamn sand sweepers! >:O
A shame, there's only two or three outside of abyssea mobs on that list, one is required as a prereq to empyrean weapons and the another is... confusing. Wtf, who dies to Chlevnik

Heh, might notice that the only outside of abyssea zones there include Walk of Echoes, Dynamis Zones, Al Zahbi and 1-30 levelling zones. :C
10/20 aren't aby. Thanks for proving my point. Old content made easier through increased levels and no fear of exp loss so people try more.

Dynamis changes caused a large influx of people to do it, and the need for currency will always be there until everyone has every relic. Valkurm Dunes and Qufim island are the zones used to level from 10 to 30. Al Zahbi isn't surprising as Besieged is *** up and is the only reasonable source of Imperial Standing. Sky, sea, einherjar, etc.: none of it is on that list. Again that only shows deaths... aby deaths especially in heroes zones are more than likely low level leeches dieing to a bad aoe. Like I have said like 3 times now.. old content made easier = less death, won't show up on your precious death chart.
While you try to defend your death chart or scrounge around looking for info to prove your opinion aby destroyed anything, I am gonna finish watching wipeout. I don't feel the need to defend my opinion of your opinion for hours on end. Loving the purple though, worth it to keep ya posting. Chill. Deleted posts on the previous page.
Honestly, people complaining that a LB quest is to easy to beat and you didnt "earn it" is about the same as people whining that if you leach a job to cap level that you didnt "earn it" and have no idea how to play the job.

They want a challenge, they want that moment to be special for them. This is the last one and after this there aren't anymore. when the final limit break quest came out last time it was a big thing, the challenge was there with the gear available at the time. It isn't going to be even close now. And they are thinking of making it even easier than it was, it doesn't make one bit of sense to me. Christmas Krizz has arrived!

The reason they are making it easier is the same reason I already pointed out. Once the initial rush is gone, it would be hard for people who waited, came back, etc to get people to want to come help them do this fight again. If you get no reward for helping, then no one is going to willing do it again. Ok honestly. they said and im quoting
"We’re currently making adjustments to the battle so that you don’t need to have a full party of six members to win. This doesn’t mean it will be “easy”, but there will be more victories as a result of the change." so if you want a challenge, like me, then low man it.... i mean there is nothing here that says u cant try to solo/duo/trio/whatever. so stop complaining. take it upon urself to make it a challenge. dont use ur emp weapon... idk... ***do it naked with 3 ppl. there are always ways to fix ***. so stop complaining and start thinking Sylph.Kimble said: » The reason they are making it easier is the same reason I already pointed out. On the other hand if you didn't catch the initial rush, there would be plenty of ppl got to lv 99 by then, and it would require much less ppl to clear if you can find 1~2 lv 99s. Worst case scenario you can either merc it, or just lv BST and solo. Who gives a sh--. I'd love to log in post-update already leveled to 99 for all I care (or do people actually enjoy grinding?).

Well, I already said on the official forums that a possible solution to getting people to come back and help would be to award a key to players who have already completed the fight to trade in for a random augment on a 95-99 piece of gear.
I don't think that would be a bad thing. It would be nice if it was Maat 2.0, but don't you think the dev team considered that as an option and thought it kinda lame? Either way the taru is a mnk, so it IS like Maat 2.0 in a way... So its not gonna be THAT hard... neither was Maat. As a 69 war MANY years before the 2h update, I killed Maat first try at my leisure. 2x Raging Rush with Might Strikes and Zerk up, and he was toast. Did I complain it was too easy? No. I just kept on leveling.
Its no different than back then, really. Just do the quest, level up, and continue with the game. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't over complicate this senseless complaints, guys lol. Edit: and Kal has a pretty good suggestion there. Just would like to point out that the difficulty of Maat went down as time went on with the introduction of new gear and proven battle strategies.
I did mine I think just before CoP came out, or MAYBE just after lol. There isn't much of a strat to the DD jobs for Maat. Gear decently, don't die. Done.

I looked at maat as the one to test your knowledge and skill of the job, and if you're worthy you can pass and become a master (level 75). This, I don't even know what this is. What the hell were the ones before? Makes no sense, and I wish they would put some obvious effort in to doing this. as im not really a fan of this change, they could put an option sort of like dynamis for subjobs.
1:Give me my next level. 2:Bring the pain. Idk i just really wanted this fight to be a challenge and no I dont want to solo it etc Siren.Kalilla said: » Well, I already said on the official forums that a possible solution to getting people to come back and help would be to award a key to players who have already completed the fight to trade in for a random augment on a 95-99 piece of gear. but as mentioned earlier we will loose the pleasure to get a real challenge and a special last instant like the maat fight was there's something square could do !!! after this last genkai ( for the mass of people) adding a last challenge @ 99 versus a master of our own job for example for sam a fight versus noillurie for drk a fight against zeid etc etc ... the fight would be hardcore and will give you a special item 99 for your job or a new job ability and for hardcorehardcore gamers finishing fights against the 20 heroes with the 20 jobs will allow you to gain a mega special item like : maat cap II what do you think about it ? I like that idea alot. There really isn't anything challenging about this game anymore, just time consuming.
