Also you tested all of the WS that we've already concluded sucked.
Also IIRC Cerberus takes reduced damage or something.
as far as i am aware it is resistant to Elemental Magic not melee dmg

Idkbro, I tend to get much higher WS numbers in VW than I did the few times I decided Cerberus was lonely and needed to be stabbed.

Anecdotal though, didn't take screenshots. It's possible he just has lolwtf defense.

i know it has a higher than normal DEF but that's why i chose it to see how the WSs do on a high def mob, and so far only one that shines is GK

So... isolated SS from one user, who didn't post any kind of gear sets, is supposed to make us not like the new WS? How grandiose LOL

why do people insist on testing on normal mobs, i went out to Cerberus and got totally different results. anyone that tests the WSs in abyssea dont count imo. Here is the highest numbers i seen on Cerberus

Clearly you haven't fought Cerb ever/since 90 update. He's had borked DT- for a long time now.

Just poking my head in here but..

Yes cerby has its DT-, but of all those WSs, Shoha was doing about what we'd expect from previous people playing with it.

My point is, would this suggest a special defence bypass? Or something such?

No, but it could have been 2 DA procs on it or whatever. We don't know since none of his testing was done correctly.

Well true enough. Just thought it might make for interesting testing if nothing else.

I don't know why you'd test on Cerb on the test server...couldn't you just pop VW bosses or something? Can't you set your movement speed so you could easily run in ... WS ... then run out of range and repop it? It's not like they'll kill you in one hit.

Idiocy? Trying and failing to find a middle ground NM? Meh.

What i was suggesting with the sepc. def bypass was in reference to ur post about the origin of 'Shoha'. I know SE isnt always consistent in linking names to effects, but they sometimes do. Revealing the truth of something can also be seen as stripping away all the lies, in this case the defences/DT.

As Serj said, it prolly isnt the case, but easy enough to test at any rate.

Only special thing found out about Shoha is that it is suspected to have an attack boost like y/g/k.

Funny enough, SE stated that y/g/k had ignore def properties and not attack boosts. Not sure how they worked that out.

Cerb is even worse because sometimes he has extremely extremely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE DT-, and sometimes he takes seemingly normal (albeit still reduced) damage.

The times when he was taking defeatable damage, Climactic Rudra's was only doing 1200-1500 dmg (for comparison, I tend to get 2500+ on Voidwatch Jeuno/Zilart T3s).

Ok seems like few information should be served here:

1. 5/5 = 100%WSC
2. Resolution has attack down (something opposite to Gekko) and for now it looks like about -40%
3. Stardiver, Entropy has fTP of first hit carried over for next ones (along with gorget/belt bonus) making them require belt/gorget for proper build and setting fTP at 3.8 at 100TP
4. Last Stand has fTP of first hit carried over too which makes it 4.0 at 100TP and 4.5 at 300TP

Shun also has an attack penalty at 100TP, I think it's likely that sword does too but no one cares enough to test it.

So what's the conclusion on Requiescat? Good or no?

Even barring any possible attack penalty at 100TP, Requiescat is next to useless on any higher level content. It has a slight edge over CDC on fodder depending on your crit rate, and will be best on anything with a large amount of straight physical resistance of any kind (elementals, ghosts, etc) due to its ability to function like Twilight Scythe and ignore damage resistance.

Aside from that, Realmrazer is the superior merit weaponskill, and Chant du Cygne is still the superior weaponskill for sword.

I'll be able to make a full conclusion on the possible attack penalty on Requiescat within a couple of hours.
