Targeting Yourself?

So far ever since they allowed us to map our keys differently and use the arrow keys to manipulate camera movement pretty much the feel of the game is great. I have tossed my gamepad in the closet and am playing with keyboard as i prefer. The only thing that I have not been able to do yet, is map a key to target myself. (which has always made targeting so easy for me FFXI) In FFXI I can press F1 and it will target myself, which I got pretty good at learning where the cursor is going to "Next Target" after targeting myself. So i would use this to target my enemies quickly. I have set the "Target self" hotkey to F1 but it is not doing as it seems it should, unless these keys are only meant for during battle.. Does anyone know how or where I can create a "Target Self" key for F1? much thanks.

You may want to just try and map it to another key, then back to f1. It has always works for me, regardless of whether or not I'm in battle. Could possibly be bugged?

I have mine set to F1 and i'm standing in town not doing anything and pressing F1 and its selecting myself. So it is working for me.

You can always try to set it all back to default, then delete them all and re-map what you wish.

f10 works too
