bg and wiki list the Atma of the Master Crafter Acquire a Guild Signboard
dont know if it counts toward it, no reason it shouldn't, I already had cooking signboard, so I dont know for sure
Also, I got a question. I'm fishing for Moat Carps on both my chars. Main is 100, mule is 10. Using little worms on both I get a much much better bite rate on my main while my mule gets a lot of item bites and it takes ages to get a moat. Not wearing a smock or anything on my main. The difference is so huge, that it's kind of annoying to fish with my mule.
Since I'm guessing it's dependent on levels, what level would be good for fishing moats?
Do GMs still do random checks while you're fishing? Before I quit I used to have a GM bug me at least once a week in Vunkerl, but I haven't seen a single one since I came back. Did they finally just give up?

Windy woods near the Wildcat Warp NPC using insect paste/halcyon is a very close second.

I've never gotten a GM tell in my entire fishing career and I've been fishing since the time where Ebisu was mostly a trophy. I went 1/800 Gugs and 1/300 Liks (Hello Zaldon) back in 2006.
I think you only get flagged for suspicious activity if you fish practically nonstop for a long extended period of time. I remember a guy who said he got suspended because he was just logging in to fish, cap out, then log out and repeat the next day.I may have just been lucky thus far though.

they r still around. 3 weeks ago, I got a GM tell and he asked me to turn around away from the water body. I turned around and he said, "Thank you blah blah blah blah". Hes gone.
Usually similar things they ask you to do.

I guess I just haven't been fishing long enough lately for them to check. I used to get tells from them on a weekly basis back in 2009. The same old "stop fishing, turn around and /wave" routine to prove that you didn't simply have a bot that stopped on tells.

okay so im 80 fishing with ebisu jsut got it this weekend but anyways at 80 fishing with +6 in gear without puffin or noddy rings can i reel in gug's?
I got my Lu shang rod few days ago... and 1/2 on Ebusu rod item..My fishing being lv 30.5 atm (@least bazaar comment say that..)..What would be my best opinions for fasteners skill up?Did today Crystall bass (cap @ 35) only .1 so far....
just go to nashmau with a shrimp lure fastest skillups ive encountered all the way to the 90's

i tried them and im avergaing 2-4 a boat ride pulling them in so rate isnt too bad

Then you are one of the few that could beat mike tyson on MTPO. Unless the fishing update really made it that easy. I haven't fished gugs since.
After raging about this before I decided to just keep calm and carry on. I fished for two and a half weeks and caught about 90 matsya to hand in all at once. In that time I've seen three people get the cape in under 20 hand ins. This is the result of my work. In short, I'm 0/291. SE seriously needs to fix how *** up this ridiculous system is.
That sucks.

Fishbotting doesn't really count as "work", and it could be worse. I've read on BG people going 0/400+. The cape isn't even worth it at that point unless maybe it's for smithing or goldsmithing

Even if you were to bot avitori, it still takes walking back and forth every day for a week to the pond, then taking an hour to trade them in, then going to the past and fishing them up, then handing in the matsya's after you used your willpower to collect a large group of them. It's not for the weak hearted. I'm more angry at this point about not getting it. You and I both know I'm a completionist and I wanted it.

Man im sorry about your luck on this one im not nearly that deep but i am 0/70 so far on it and thats buying all for 450k each
