Is totally passing off false information as fact... when you proceeded to then come in and throw a piss fest over nothing when you could have just said from the start "It's a mistake on FFXIAH and it happens once in awhile" like the NORMAL users of this thread did.

Even at level 100 capped I was breaking it that often unfortunately. Sometimes i broke it twice in a row :(

I wouldn't call it feasible to fish them at any level without either woodworking or multiple Lu's.

While I never fished them at 110 fishing, at 100 fishing, they break your Lu's probably one in 8-10 times*, which is still far too often for my tastes.

I highly recommend woodworking to 74 myself. You will almost hit 80 by the time you finish ebisu. If you didn't take a craft from 100 to 110 you actually can still do ww to 80 without penalty.

Yeah when I broke my 100 cap, Cave Cherax took me to 103 within 3-4 days... Last night I hit 104 and about 0.3 through it. Amazing skill up rate on these it seems with a very nice bite rate. Bonus dwarf pugil bait too.

Nothing to write home about versus hakuryu but 800g per fish turn in if you catch 200 and gut them all is pretty nice rainy day funding.

Being able to hit 110 on these pleases me~

I did 100-108 on ap pretty fast with 2 pelican rings. the good thing about them is they dont break lines and bite sinkers. CC will break your line possibly your rod if no ebisu and takes lots of meatballs.

Also i was unable to discern any benefit from 100-110 on most fish. Im sure theres a difference but how much i dont know.

also everyones favorite frenchie from gilgamesh pointed out ebisu does not give fishing skill but probably rather some hidden effects to fishing.

I'm racist against Galkas because of that ***. 0/95 as of yesterday.

I got 16 bait yesterday out of about a hundred cave cherex today. I think I need to stop cussing him out in /say every time he screws me over. Maybe it doesn't help that my trade macro is "FkZaldon".

Anyone get jealous everytime a matsya snaps your line and two seconds later you see "blahblah pulls up a matsya"?

I think I have issues because of fishing.

Unfortunately the guild pattern listed is not 100% accurate and can have errors in any of the various ranking sections and for any craft. What I try to do is to check the reports underneith to see if anyone reported the same craft and rank that I'm at and go by that otherwise I head out to the guild and get comformation before gathering up my items so as not to waist a lot of time.

If you find an error there is a spot at the bottom of the page that you can report it which I did on the fish for today...hope this helps to clear up any misunderstanding as to how this gets messed up from time to time. As a side not this is not soley a vertern/expert probably but can occur in the lower level ranks as well.

Just wondering if you might have a better luck if you were to hold onto a few of these over a couple of days then turn in a nice small batch of them all at once to see if the helps to increase your odd of getting a cape...just a thought...

I would just like to say, I think 100 fishing should be worth 2X that of a 100 craft like my 100 Clothcraft. I am desperately trying to get to 26/30 for a chance at my shawl (currently 10) and my hat is off to anyone who has leveled fishing to 100 with the minigame and the 200 fish limit... That or I am doing it all types of wrong!

A lot of people I know tried to express interest in fishing until they realized it wouldn't be a short term deal. Fishing to 100 and all the bells and whistles in my opinion is absolutely worth way more.

To be fair, if you buy them, Lu Shangs and Ebisu rods are pretty hefty investments

I couldn't believe it but I just got 1.4 in 6 minutes, which has been taking me all day and the fish limit to get. I don't know if it was luck or the light weather or I am finally reaching a downhill segment but for whatever the reason I am happy atm lol!
