I had super good luck with Gugs 1/67 but omg the liks hates me lol. Took me most of the year and 1/1599 to get item. Thank god i had high lvl fisherman friends XD
I hope gugs give me better luck.
Do you have to have the guild point ki to get the items from gutting the fish or can you still get them before you gotten the guild ki/ flagged quest?
As long as you can do inside the belly quest you can get the KI for ebisu without doing anything at all.

There's quite a few stackable baits that work for Hakuryu. From what I've seen, sardine balls work the best.
hmm may give those a go then this 70 lures for 150 fish nonsense gotta stop yes its still profit but their are people straight up b-wording lures and it becomes time consuming
Sardine balls are only viable if you fish sardines and craft the bait yourself.
thats fine tbh i can just fish em on mules i have like 9 level 20 mules its just when buying lures is either a 3 hour ferry warp spam or a 5 hour crafting session it gets to be problematic cuz then i still gotta fish 6 or so hours lol and by that time im hella tired
I've recently become addicted to fishing just hit the 5000/10000 moat carp point its starting to look a little bit more obtainable! ^^
On the road to ebisu (0/112 gug, 0/38 Lik) and mules Lu's quest 1200/10000. Kinda enjoying fishing atm :D

Yeah, that's a pretty normal amount of lures used. I've used over 100 lures in a day, but it all comes down to long you fish.
well so far so good on using sardine balls total amount invested about 46k about half the bite rate but i no longer see a broken line as -4k at least lol

You definitely need a sample size to make a statement such as that.

if you do hakuryu with shaper's shawl on you will bust twice as many lures.
1/150 finally on the lik! Major thanks to Kalilla for commissioning them for me! 85,000/95,000 on serpent rumors and still need the gug item, but this is a major dent.
On the upside I am also 9480/10000 on legit lushang and took woodworking to 75 2 nights or so ago to repair it as i snap the rod 100 times on attempting my own gugs for a short bit.

well the sardine ball idea didnt pan out so well i fished 8 hours at least because i had ***else to do all day and caught 36 lol 21 of those in the first 2 hours started out biting like mad then nosteau herrings woke up
Yesterday Opal Silk~ Today Lu Shang & maybe a albatross ring if Kalilla gets on sometime today :D... sometime this week saber shoot goooooo.
Now to go break this 100 times on gugs.
