A lot of people are picking it up on their main because they believe skill caps will be raised again. Tis quite possible.

So i stopped my massive fishing (83)
To try and get the two KIs
Didn't think they would be that cheap but seeing that the likely hood of getting them on first few tries it low you'll spend quite a bit :P

Imma still buy em since I doubt I'd be able to fish them up at 83....
Especially since I don't have albatross yet :o


No luck yet on KIs this will be a fun weekend lol

I think what my plan of action for ebisu is, should be to save 3 million gil and attempt to purchase lik and not turn any in until I have exactly 100. Just sitting there spamming lik time after time. Then I will probably do the same for the other.

I seem to have much better luck in this game when I grossly over prepare and spam things.

Also @ Dark... I don't think even with 100 Fishing + Lu Shang + 8 in skill will even allow you to catch them legit very easily without breaking your rod 10+ times in a row.

That's what I did with Lik and Gugru, I'd buy and save about 70~80, but it only took me one spamga of both to get my items, so I'm glad it didn't take as much as I thought D: Did that with puffin ring too, probably just luck, but I figure it's maybe a better chance than trading only a couple at a time @_@ GL!

There was a discussion @BG about early fatigue. If a monkey fishes for you, make sure it isn't pulling them up too quickly.

The account is a year and a half old and I've been fishing for the past 4 months or so. Not sure on how long I was on today, maybe 3 hours. It's never been deactivated.

For fishing Matsya do you "NEED" mooching to get them or does it just increase the time you have to fish it?

So I think I have possibly narrowed down why my main character's breakline % rate on Hakuryu has gone from about 30% to about 50%

I've been fishing with Shaper's Shawl on.

I don't want to talk about it ; ; I just commissioned Kalilla to fish me 100 lik and that fat *** galka shafted me on 100 trades in a row.... Have to pay Kalilla again to fish 100 more for me, which I just finished collecting funds for today. UGH.
