Fisherman's belt effect differs from Advanced support from taru in Windurst? Legit question. I like to have it on as much as possible. I do not mind going for GP but I would quit bothering with belt if taru's effect were +3 fishing skill or more.

It looks like the belt gives +2 fishing skill, so I guess it is considered advanced skill support. It'd been so long I forgot.

Also, another possibility with the Aurora Bass: Aren't there ponds in Delkfutt's Tower that have not had any fish added to them? If you're going to Qufim, may want to pop in to the tower just for the hell of it if you don't have any luck.

(There's also Hall of the God's, but that seems more farfetched than my other ideas).

I tried Qufim for about an hour with at least 6 different lures, I tried minnows the longest since most bass were caught with minnows... D: Friend suggested mirror ponds, so I went to Beaucedine_s because I figured SE would be a *** and put them there <_< but 30mins and nothing with minnows, tried the ledge and nothing but bluetails/squids etc... hope it's not from Matsya inside the belly, because that'd be dumb ;~;

I'm crushed i didn't instantly nail it.

I bet they like live bait better than fake minnows.

I'm totally interested in what you guys are doing, but I'm not leaving the glacier for now.

I'm just trying random areas with minnows.
I'm hoping Minnow can catch them, since it catches all the other "bass."

I researched the Aurora Bass on google and what I found out was its a large fish found in canals. I took the round trip through Carpenter's Landing from Sandy and didn't find anything. Thinking maybe Toraimarai Canal or the Canal from Junger Carpenter's Landing.

Just a thought.

Ugh, gonna have to get in on this. I wonder about those ponds on the inside of sky.

Actually I'm having a pretty hard time picturing a pond in the Ulli room.

Bots identify IDs as they go.
As far as I know, there is not a place in the DATs that lists what fish can be caught in a zone.

That would be so funny, and then so infuriating after a while.

Makes sense, but I hope not.

I assumed the reward was going to be those Plumb Boots.

The scales of this dark bass species reflect light in multiform hues to create a subtle but scintillating glow...that easily attracts predators

is the description on the fish btw for those that have not seen it.

matysa is a freshwater river fish confirmed to now guttable.
if memory serves me right you can catch other bass in that fishing area.
no information about actual new fish added.
I hope I am wrong but this looks very plausable if the fish is not found by tommarow.
