Sorry, should have been clearer. Two box another account and use that to hold the monsters, so you save bait by not having to keep pulling up monsters.
Can there only be X number of monsters pulled up at a time around me?
Oh lord, this changes everything.

You will lose your bait pulling up monsters, but pulling them up and holding on another toon means you can no longer pull them up and waste bait on them.
edit: i'm slow Anyone have any advise on catching Titantic Sawfish...? Need to catch a few for fish ranking.
I'm hoping that the difficulty of catching this fish will mean far fewer people doing fish ranking and an better chance for me to grab a first or second place title. :) Taken from wiki
The window is approximately from 14:47-15:47 (game time). The window opens when the npc says "Here we are, the Maliyakalya Reef. Prrretty amazing piece of Mother Nature's work, wouldn't you say? This place is teeming with all sorts of sea life." The window closes when the npc says "Well, that's it for the reefs. Other than cliffs of Buburimu, there's not much to see on the way back. I'd suggest sitting back and relaxing a bit." I plan on trying to catch a day or two of these also. Sylph.Staleyx said: » Taken from wiki Yeah I had seen that on there... considering how shitty the fishing info on the wiki can be on rarely caught fish.... i was hoping someone had better news for me. :P Yes that is true. No, there weren't any new fish added for Zaldon to gut. It does not mean, however, some current fish may become guttable in the future.

It has been ages since I did it so I don't remember the rank up system. But digging it up in altep was pretty common. You can only do it once a day that if I remember correctly but it takes like two seconds rather than waiting an hour for a two minute window. Oh man my memory is off or wiki is off. It lists it at like 1%. Shows how selective memory is from stuff ages ago.

Hey all! I was wondering if you experienced fishers could possibly give me some advice and steer me in the right direction. :)
I don't currently have a main income and would like to rectify that with fishing. An Ebisu would be awesome of course! I am 79 in fishing and 90 in cooking. I'm currently working on my GP for cooking so I haven't gotten any GP for fishing yet. Currently, I'm skilling up on Ahtapots and Mercanbaligi in Nashmau with my Lu Shangs, which is going by quite quickly and the NPC stood quite close to the docks is awesome, as I've always had inventory issues. XD I also have a second account that has fishing somewhere in the 20s. Neither of these accounts have woodworking high enough yet, so I'm a bit anxious of going anywhere where my Lu could break. I don't have any fishing rings currently as I haven't gotten around to doing anything with Zaldon yet and despite having entered fish ranking, I have yet to come high enough to get the skillup ring. - Is it worth skilling my alts woodworking up just to fix my Lu Shangs? - How soon do I need to worry about the chart quested rings? - What's the most efficient way to go about fishing up Ebisu fish? I would rather earn my own than buy them due to no consistent income right now. -Are there any places to skillup after Nashmau is no longer worthwhile that I won't have to worry about rod breaks? My fishing currently takes up several hours in the day already and my bf is always wanting to do other things so my time to do additional fishing related quests is limited. :| Thanks so much for reading~! I hit 100 last night in Oldton Movalpolos, fishing up Armored Pisces. I would definitely level up Woodworking, as when I fish Lik / Gugs I do get quite a few breaks. I got my alt to 72. It may take a few tries to repair, so take some Kitron Macaron with you if possible. can do black sole as well cap at 96 i think and stack/npc well

It doesn't matter unless you plan on "preparing" to gut it later. Hence, the above gif. maybe just stating the fact that some current fish will possibly be guttable in the future with no other motive?

I guess I can understand that you may be questioning whether or not fish caught in the expansion will EVER be incorporated into Zaldon's fat belly.
But it's a question that you have no ability to answer, nor have any control over when you will be able to answer. No and I never said anything about holding onto a character full of fish. But it sure does suck for the people that fished Matsya and npced them for 20k for all that hard work. Obviously people are not going to keep fishing a legendary fish not used for anything.
how dare you think toward the future of fishing in this thread!

Ok. I think I misunderstood why you said what you said.
To say something "might" become usable in the future is a possibility I assumed EVERYONE operated under given that we play an MMO. Thus, mentioning it explicitly lead me to believe that you would be saving the aforementioned fish. Which made me laugh in the morning. No easy task. Well done. on a lighter note ive always wondered if that gif accidentally says anything in sign language

I don't know the answer to your question.
I like it because I can see it interpreted in two different ways. 1) "What I've just heard is so stupid and here's why..... wait.... why would I point that out. If you were indeed stupid enough to not see the error in your statement, being shown why will do no good." 2) "Here's the answer to your question... wait... hmm.... actually.... I don't know.... hmm." One insults intelligence and the other is pretty benign. Dual purpose meme > single purpose meme! Leviathan.Heybunny said: » Hey all! Fishing after nashmau would be in old town mavapolis if you don't have ebisu yet or black soles or cave cherax I think they can break a plus though. As for rings if you go to old town mavapolis to skill up they would help in the 90's Too answer your third and first question if you are going to fish you own liks and gugs then yes level woodworking or your going to have a lot of runs to rabao, as far as fishing for the fish only 1 real good way for fish meatballs on fairy for gugs and sinking minnow of links in lufaise meadows |
