Yeah it's going to be a LONG time before we get a lot of SoA's story, unfortunately. But with the expansion coming so far into the game's life, they are gonna need a LOT of content straight out of the gate or people will get super bored easily again and deactivate. I'm pretty sure there are a number of folks waiting to reactivate just for SoA

We pay 30-40 dollars for something unfinished, the rest of the price tag comes from a year or two time investment and paying 12-24 monthly payments just to see the end of the story, and get the final updates to the content.
Or you can just quit and wait a year or two to play until they are nearing the end, then catch up on everything you missed spending hundreds of dollars less than other players and have the same armor and be at the same point in the story as everyone else.
I hate MMO's.

I'm personally going to play SoA, but I'll be giving 14 2.0 a try as well and then decide what game I'm going to be interested in the most.
If neither grab my attention then that's it really. I have other games that are actually finished that won't pull me a long for some little prize after days of trying to get something.
The story doesn't even change for MMO's, so my attention for it goes away very quickly and I move onto something else. I just don't see myself enjoying something like that anymore, I don't want to invest hours and hours of my time just to get some gear and then look for a group to do team stuff.
I'm just sour so I'll stop :|

It's much easier to keep up with a show than it is to catch up. I personally enjoy the mini-marathons of catching up with a show rather than waiting a week for another 24 minutes.

I didn't touch 14 at all, but the effort put into and overall quality of the final cinematic may be enough to coax me into giving it a try.
14 is very different than 11. It won't be for everybody. The story for 14 2.0 is great so far though. I did love the lore of alpha ^^

They are basically putting everything they have left into reviving their investment, so me spending a few dollars to buy the game and try it out for a month or two to see how it is isn't that big of a deal for me.
If it turns out that I'm bored and don't enjoy doing anything on it then that's it, won't have to keep paying for it and I'll just put it away.

I've never really been one to watch playthroughs of games, but omg that one I watched of The Cat Lady, was intense. That game was so twisted lol

I heard bad things about RE6. I've loved the series since the original, but can't find the money in my budget to buy 6. Is it worth it?
