Sony is ok but other companies are better imo Actually in terms of audio equipment, Sony is still a very reputable name. =/ It's weird, but they actually make pretty high quality audio stuffs. While I like flac audio, I don't really notice a difference, my attention to detail on audio/visual is near non-existent. I played megaman for years with him being purple... I have a low-end pair of sony headphones that are ok, but definitely could be better for the price. If you were looking at higher end stuff than that I might recommend sony, but idk. I used to get shure/sennheiser stuff for my band back when we did recordings and I never had a problem. I use shure mic for vocals and sennheiser mics for drums/guitar/basss Fenrir.Weakness said: » I'm still having issues on picking a pair of headphones =( I'm stuck between three pair Shure SRH440 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DP1FTU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p267_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1HFPZR43T0HTJ86FQYP5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 Sennheiser HD-280 Pro http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000065BPB/ref=s9_simh_gw_p267_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1HFPZR43T0HTJ86FQYP5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 Sony MDR 7506 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AJIF4E/ref=s9_simh_gw_p267_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1HFPZR43T0HTJ86FQYP5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 Anyone here a fellow audiophile and any experience with any of these or any other suggestions on higher end headphones? i only use headsets~ but imo i'd say option 1 or 2. because of the amount of padding on them would probably make them more comfy after extended use. But i'm not a fan of the plastic looking material for the padding. and option 2 has more reviews ~ Thread's too quiet. :I
Welp, another few attempts, no cursed kabuto-1 for me >_<

I prefer the second personally, even if they are supposed to the same concept, the second one has more of an ice touch to it~ Just want to say that's just the normal map of the 3D model, depending on how they use game's lighting/filters with the character model her skin/appearance will probably look more blue or ice like. For example: If you compare Garuda's model in a model viewer to how she appears in-game, her skin tone is much more green in-game through the use of the games green filter and lighting. It's the same with Ifrit, so they'll probably will do the same with her. For all we know she could have multiple forms Also going through the backlogs of FFXIV's lore Shiva also known as "The Fury" & Halone is actually from the elezen race. Halone, mover of glaciers and goddess of war, is the guardian deity of Ishgard. She commands the element of Ice and is associated with the first moon of the Eorzean calendar. Halone is the daughter of Rhalgr, and a bitter rival of Nophica. She is most often depicted as a relentless warrioress armed with a bronze greatshield. Her symbol is the three spears. bleh that nap was too long ~,~

But where did you get that the guardian diety's are the primals? It's my understanding they are completely different entities. Halone The Fury is a guardian diety (one you can select as your guardian on character creation and one of the 12 you pray to). Ifrit, and Garuda are not among the deities you pray to in that quest. Several NPCs in Coerthas refer to Shiva as "The fury" & Halone and vice versa. here's more info Halone is likely based on the Hindu goddess Parvati, the female aspect of the god Shiva. In Hindu literature, Parvati is generally not viewed as a warrior goddess, rather often portrayed as having a calming effect on Shiva's rage. However, when Parvati is driven to wrath, she will create a new goddess version of herself to do her warfare for her. In one such tale, she created the goddess Durga, a relentless warrior who carried a legendary weapon in each of her multiple hands. In Northern India, Parvati is made manifest as a holy ice formation (along with Shiva and his son) called a lingam, which may explain Halone's connection with ice. While Halone is associated with the Fifth Moon of the Eorzean clandar, Parvati's holy Gauri Festival is observed during India's fifth lunar month. Parvati is often depicted holding a three-pronged spear called a trishula which may correspond to Halone's three spears. ‡ Halone's holy symbol of three spears may additionally refer to the Three Great Spears of Japan (said to be the greatest spears under heaven) which go by the names Tonbogiri, Otegine, and Nihongo. fractalvoid said: » best pokemon rite hurr~ That's a lot of in depth stuff about some mythology but it looks like a lot of speculation /shrug. I just never heard any NPC say "Shiva" at all in the game in v 1.23. Though I could be mistaken.
Posting favorite Pokemon? Cool.
Way cooler than his evolved form, as beastly as Scizor is. Offline

holy assfuckery that was a pain in the *** to uninstall motioninjoy...
finally got my 360 wireless reciever working to sync my controller. while it will work for what I currently am using it for, I wonder if I should bother to attempt to get it working in direct input mode for XI (and other old games) or just revert to one of my other controllers for that, I'd have to fix one of my like 5 logitech controllers for that though... |
