He always gathered up a list of victims and told the reader about them, but then he always said which one he was going to kidnap so the victim was never a surprise, and then at the climax when he re-abducted the main character, the author completely skimmed over what happened and what he did to her in order to focus on the frantic rantings of her boyfriend (well I'm pretty sure we can figure out that the boyfriend is frantic all by ourselves, could you please say what the murderer is doing to the girl!)
AND THEN after spending the entire book making a huge fuss out of how independent the girl was and how she prided herself on being strong, when the murderer threw her in a well with two hours worth of oxygen in a scuba tank with her feet tied to a weight and told her that if her boyfriend didn't find her in two hours she was dead, she just was like "Ok!" and sat there. Um what? Your hands aren't even tied lady, at least TRY to unbind your feet and swim to the top? Bah humbug. I'm reading "Game of Thrones" by George R. R. Martin next because I've heard so much about it. It better be better than the last one. >.> Like, Austar should write a monk one. Not like you really need a monk guide, but what if Pchan or Mnkk get weird ideas?
Etc... "It was yellow with daisies and exactly four flounces and eight ruffles and looked like sunshine and she sewed it herself and yadda yadda ding dong dadda" But wish me luck! I will feel bad if I don't like Game of Thrones, just because everyone else loves it. *finger cross* Lakshmi.Flavin said: » Ramuh.Urial said: » Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Odin.Liela said: » Bah humbug.
