Y'know, I hear stories about how people met their friends in FFXI. I've met one or two, but most of the time the people I met in FFXI were ***. I know of at least 2-3 who took advantage of my friend and stole everything from him or from our coffers when we built linkshells, and in the long run I don't really talk to any of them anymore. I started the game with a few friends whom I met before I even started the game, and oddly enough, aside from one person I pretty much retained that number going out of it. Most people I've met on FFXI were ***. Josi was one of the few that was genuinely nice and didn't have an ulterior motive. I kinda wish I was able to stick around and pay back the favor. But I honestly doubt I'll ever start that game up again.

@_@ Trying to compile a priority hit-list for my videogames (I've been watching a lot of 24 >.>)
Separating them into categories like 50%+ complete, nearly complete, clearing post-game content, farming trophies/cheevs.
Then I have a long list of "RPGS I bought because I worried they would be hard to find later but I don't really feel like playing them that much" and almost as long is "Fighting games I bought because I have a stupid $250 fight stick I never use and I will never get good at them."
I barely know how to wave dash.

You have to increase your proficiency with them, most of the high-end weapons start with low damage but will skyrocket once you cap them off. Also keep in mind that some of the big-star weapons have built-in bonuses, like increased reach and things like that.
