Can you make me a Monte Cristo sammich?
A monte cristo is like a grilled ham and cheese isn't it? Should be easy to make/improve upon.
lol im supposed to be vacuuming the floors but im just turning it on and sitting it on top of the dirty areas and browsing AH.
Hmm... Tough Call... one of Kail's home made sammiches, or restaurant sammiches... I'm gonna vote for Kail, cuz i'm already in Canada
Bennigans still exists? I thought they turned into something else?
When I make an easy sammich I toast the bread, toss on some roast beef and turkey (usually a spiced variety) 2 sliced of marble cheddar or hvarti jalapeno cheese depending on the recipients taste, and also depending on said taste I will add coleslaw, or lettuce, and if they want extra crunch I'll add crushed potato chips and some more shredded cheese, so when I heat it in the oven for a few minutes it's crunch AND gooey.
The intricate ones are also delicious, but make sure to tell me what ingredients you want. xD I went in that room.. I WENT IN THAT ROOM. THE HORROR

Edit: also, nothing about it seemed easy lol. THERE WAS 2 OTHER TARUS I ASSUME AND ONE WAS TELLING PRISHE HOW HE WAS GOING TO FILL HER UP COMPLETELY AND.. AND HE SPELLED EVERYTHING WRONG!!!
Also, I went in as Laffy. :3c

I can make ones that take a while, and as I said, it requires the recipient to tell me what it is they want in the sandwich. That was just an example sammich. And lemme tell you if I made a sammich just for you, and brought it to you and you looked at it and said you refused to eat it, you would end up wearing the sammich. /nod That doesn't quite sound like your typical Monte Cristo, but it does sound interestingly delicious. I'm definetly aware that each place will do a slight to extreme change to something that exists already, just to make it their own.
My Monte Cristo usually has 3 piece of fried deli meat - ham, turkey, and chicken - placed between two piece of bread, obviously with cheese on each side because i like the heart clogging goodness, and then fry it up in a lightly buttered pan til it's crispy golden brown. Occasionally I'll change it up and sub out one of the meats for some saurkraut Yeah, as a professional cook, I'm with Kai on this one. If somebody takes the time to make you some food, and especially if it's intricate, wolf that sucker down. That's rude as ffffffffffff if you just say "pass".

Had an awesome Angus burger at the hospital today.
Oh god now I see everything misspelled.. Eik is a professional *** and Joey had Anus burgers.

Bismarck.Cicada said: » Oh god now I see everything misspelled.. Eik is a professional *** and Joey had Anus burgers. Who said I wasn't that either? Giggity giggity I worked as a cook for 8 years-ish, in and out of various settings, from fast food to fine dining and casual, to catering. One of the biggest piss-off's of all time to a cook, professional or not, is seeing other lazy cooks, and arrogant/ignorant customers.
