Well depending on the job really. Either way it's always been a giant pain to keep at skill cap as a BRD.

What about other magic spells? Like dia, etc.

Edit: And because you're clearly trying to feed TP to mobs to learn spells:
Melee hits gives your TP+3, so say you're using a scythe and hit for 14 TP, the mob will get 17. Store TP is not calculated into this.
As such, it's better to use a very-low-damage weapon, and abuse that to give a mob TP.
Also, at 100% HP, mobs save to 300 TP everytime before WSing. at 50% HP, they can WS anytime between 200 and 300. At 25% TP, they WS anywhere between 100 and 300.

I'll test it on the next mob. Aren't there certain tiers of when mobs will use tp moves? like at 100% health they wait until 200% tp or something?

afaik, <50% uses every 100%

There are yeah, it's like 20% or under they'll use it at 100% guaranteed iirc.
