I kinda got jelly when messaging a colleague at work.

I generally send a message then I reread it to confirm if major typos or wrong message was sent.

But when I was rereading my own message, halfway my colleague sent me an emoticon of "ok".

So, he managed to read twice faster than me reading my own message.

I always considered that if i could read faster, I would be one of the smartest guy in the world. Sucks in the end, I can never reach that stage

He was reading. You were error checking. Reading takes less time and mental engagement.

All of that "still water" and "aerated water" danger stuff is always fascinating in cave diving

bought a new coffee maker, tastes 100% better. no telling how much crap was in the lines of the old one.

Not sure if I mentioned it but in late December like a week after I quit the hotel, my right shoulder gave out while I was at a Christmas/Birthday party with my wife. My father in law gave me a sling, and my arm was in a sling for the next 10 days or so. I saw a doc within 5 who merely charged me $175 for visitation and then $40 for pain/muscle relaxant prescription and told me I HAD TO SEE AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON! (unless "the range of motion returns in a few days)

The pain and loss of motion went away about 3 days later. I guess it was bursitis? Anyway, I occasionally get pinchy pain across it over the clavicle into the ball of the shoulder.

Woke up early today from a dream where I broke my clavicle, and saw a doctor for it. Dr. was the same one I saw all the time as a kid. I was pretty happy to see him. Last time he treated me IRL I was about 14 and heavily constipated from eating about 4 bags of popcorn in one sitting from marathoning two LoTR movies with my parents. He had a big laughing fit about it before prescribing me a laxative and some painkillers until I was less full of ***.

I was genuinely happy to see him in a dream. Still got about 7 hours of sleep, and couldn't go back to sleep after I woke up from him laughing at me from him remembering the last time we'd interacted.

My brain, I tells ya.

I think it is kinda wrong as doctor and patient relationship generally involves one side being more vulnerable, and instintly seeking for the doctor protection, but if you are fine with this love, I will still aupport you.

Eh, funny today's news:

"The british reporter Charlotte Alice was found in Rio, after being considered disappeared".

She just came to Brasil to enjoy Carnival, she arrived at São Paulo, then decided to take a bus.amd come to Rio 20 days ago.

But apparently she didnt told anyone and was leisurely stayibg at a hostel relatively close to where I live.

During the trip, she turned off the cellphone. Her family asked to police to search for her fearing soemthing bad happened to her.

But nah. She just want to enjoy Carnival. Probably lots of boyfriends by now

Talking about Carnival, it was hard doing exercises at gym this last week.

Gym full with so many people wanting to give some finishing touches in the shape for the Carnival.

Those damn casuals trying to do the exercises they normally dont do just to get laid while me, who never skip a week of exercises, need to compete for the equipment....

ehhhhhhh we buy a 12 dollar mr coffee machine so the father in law that is your age can keep a simple anti-tech one button routine in the morning.
Not worth spending more money when just buying a replacement machine is more efficient.

Tim Hortons coffee stopped tasting good when the franchise was sold to Restaurant Brands International Inc.

I drank a lot of their coffee at work both before and after the 2014 acquisition and enjoyed both blends. Sadly I was not married though but would have been nice to get to share it.

the machine i got was like 60 bucks and is a single serve, add water every time k pod deal. super fast, cup is ready in under a minute from start to finish.

i'm a coffee pleb and this is my guilty pleasure, sure to offend the aficionados
