Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Matrix was pretty good, kinda felt it went by too quick but I enjoyed it.

Many Raises, much woof. I went RDM to them, and whooo boy. My Verraise arm is getting a workout. Today we went in with 5/8 people blind in Pandaemonium 4. The final fight...I did so many raises that I ran out of MP like 4 times, even chugging Super Ether HQ on top of Lucid on cooldown. I'd get our healers up, and they'd get more people up and go down again hehe. I'm not sure how long the fight took us, but we never wiped... but at one point it was just me and a tank and a healer. We came back from that with natural raises. Then later on down the line, both tanks died and I was top of the agro list from not yet dying the whole fight, and that's when I died too lol, so literally everyone in the party died. It was hilarious. Also I'm pretty sure there's no enrage in normal mode again, which makes the last time normal mode raids had an enrage still Deltascape lol. I'm approaching there now. Currently queuing up on the second floor. Some of my mates in LS chat were complaining about other players spoiling the final fight last night but also commented the healers they had were.. incompetent.. to put it mildly, lol I guess I will see how bad it is shortly! Well, I just did floor 4 and I felt it was relatively tame. I did die to the first mechanical showing to three different mechanics but once I picked it up, it was no problem at that point. I had more trouble with the third floor TBH, lol. It feels more party oriented than the 4th floor and thus more liable to individuals causing a wipe. Time to farm for body pieces.. It's less tame if there's nobody prepositioning giving away the tells. Kind of like the Extremes, you can, "Follow the Leader" it pretty easy. I didn't think much of the first three fights at all. I did all of them the first time a few hours after the maint ended. Granted, these are just normal so it's like, whatever once you learn any tells you have trouble with. In P4 I didn't notice the symbol on his rapier was changing for the cleave or knockback, and that's what gave me trouble in it. I think in Savage we might get the role orbs but without the indicators hehe. Just have to assign DPSes to tanks and healers by name pairings. The first time through I didn't notice the icons with the red X over them in the meteor circles and blew myself up by standing in the XDPS one lol. Only thing that gave me trouble in P3 was actually seeing which Experimental Fire circle pattern it was doing because I had a ton of casters in there, couldn't see the boss's body for jackshit cause I don't turn off others' animations. Feel like I might need to, there's so much animation vomit now that completely encompasses the boss's figure. Could you post more goth mermaids, please. Asking for a friend.
In response to the "Look, horses" thing, one thing my dad sort of taught me was as you're driving past fields full of hay bales to suddnly yell "HEY!" and then when the passenger (usually looking at their phone) asks what you just point out to the fields and repeat yourself.

You hear it and you think it's stupid 2. You hear it several more times and realize it's a trend 3. You say it with dripping irony 4. You keep saying it ironically until it just becomes habit 5. You start saying it unironically because it's just who you are now That is unfortunately true. You do a thing to mock a thing and then you can't stop the habit.
I thought Anakin was prophesized to bring balance to the force. Seems like there were a few too many jedi. The rule of two doesn't revolve solely around the sith. one light. one dark. that is balance.
That's the thing about prophecy; You have to be really specific in your wording.

When anakin was done, there were two Jedi and two sith left
Perfect balance. Except for ya know, the (at least) 2 or 3 dozen (up to 100+) other jedi, lol but close enough

Though in my defense, I really was just resting my eyes after not blinking for what I assume was 12 straight hours. And a lot of bigger objects require finesse, even when they're not heavy. Also, I live in a city built on the remnants of an ancient lake, so if we don't get enough rain it literally causes buildings to collapse because the ground shrivels up like a raisin. :( i am 100% dad
On my mom's side of the family (which always kinda took precedence) we'd do the gift exchange on Christmas Eve and then there might be one or two presents from Santa under the tree on Christmas Day. They always made a bigger deal out of the 24th.
my dad would always give me a teaser present on christmas eve, and on christmas day he would always hide the good presents til last lol, to try to fake me out... every year
i still don't know where he hid them, i was always a present snooper lol, i would turn the house upside down and could never find them as far as now, i can never keep a secret and as soon as a present comes in the mail, id give it to ryan lol, keeping a surprise for any length of time would literally kill me... sometimes i can't even wait for him to come home and i spoil it in a text :( or even before it's shipped... Always as soon as we got up (like 5 am) and then when we were all done we'd go back to sleep lol I kind of miss it. Getting old now, don't really feel the joy I felt back then. It doesn't feel like christmas time right now. I set my desktop wallpaper to the expanded picture I shared on here of my current avatar. That's the most Christmas I've seen. We didn't even erect a tree this year because our new kitten is 100% the kind of cat that would topple it every day. I'm grateful I can still see my folks tomorrow. We've all been really careful with the pandemic and legally they're allowing up to 10-person gatherings right now. A fact that is for sure going to change after the holidays as our daily number of new cases continues to double every 2-3 days...
