The south park movie part 2 is out fellers.
Square-Enix should really be using this time to market the hell out of FFXI. Especially since the Return to Vana'diel campaign is running, getting some people on board with XI might relieve some pressure on the XIV servers.
"Hey, everyone! While you're waiting in queue to play XIV, why not try our other game out!"
Rather than losing money by giving everyone free play time in XIV, they could be making sales on XI. Worst-case scenario, they make money and relieve the XIV servers. Best-case scenario, people really like XI and stick with it even after XIV is fixed, paying for both concurrently.

While somehow biased analysis, what piqued my interest was the passage saying Demon Slayer manga had outsold all comic sales in that year.
First because i always want to read good completed manga, honestly never heard about it before so naturally its a big surprise to know there was a big hit completed that i never noticed. Going to add to my list of future readings.
Second because, well, same old. There should be many reasons why manga is more popular than comics currently, not going to discuss any of it because its not like i researched more than 5 minutes about that, but honestly its not like im sad of it

Random thought: Does Altana have any religious symbols associated with her or those who worship her? I can't think of any. You'd think that if they existed, they'd be all over White Mage equipment.

People who finished Endwalker aren't just suddenly not going to log in to let other people play.
And there are at least some people theoretically nice enough to just stop playing out of courtesy for other people.
Of course, if they'd just use this time to push FFXI as an alternative, it would be a win for both games...
