Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

At the moment, I don't own a single console. I emulate PSX, SNES, and N64 games on my computer. :<

So emulate ps2?

No suggesting OUTSIDE when you still play!

But OUTSIDE is so boring. I play it every once in a while when I have to.

I didn't like that game, I couldn't figure out how to window it or turn down the brightness settings.

If you got a strong enough computer, there's a chance you can play 12.. There is a PS2 emulator, it's just not as seamless and perfect as you've come to expect of PS1-N64 and down.. A lot of the games still don't completely work, and it also eats up resources like a ***.. But with an i7, 9GB RAM and a HD4870 1GB I can play Shadow of the Colossus, which is definitely one of the more demanding games out there.. It's only slightly laggy.. Motion is still fluid, but it doesn't move as fast as it did on console (and TBH I woulda probably never noticed the difference, had I not owned it on PS2).

It appears that FFXII is playable (which means you can play it all the way through).. Their homepage up near the top is a tab called compatibility, it tells you what games have been tested and confirmed to work.

It's just a 7 glitch, I don't know that there is a way to fix it.

Pretty sure it's graphic card problems stemming from using an intel chipset. And probably a lack of ram (1.5gb). My processor is pretty good though.

Can't you right click, then properties and click auto-hide taskbar?

taskbar is a pretty integral part of the novice computing experience

Yeah, you can't do it if you don't have a beast of a computer.. I can play Kingdom Hearts absolutely fine on my system, but on my wifes it goes like 1FPS.. You definitely need a gaming rig to use the PS2 emulator, at the very least, you need a good GPU. Onboard graphics just won't cut it.

Yeah, more ram and a better GPU are my priorities when I finally start upgrading.

Edit: Just checked, I have an Intel Celeron D. 3.46GHz.

It's on autohide. I'd rather it not be though.

Gonna go play Morrowind while my POL Viewer updates on dial-up. lolz ~.~
