Dennis Ritchie, K&R, even *** O'Reilly and his books, Bill Gates, Bjarne Stroustrup, Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman, w3, Guido van Rossum, Ada Lovelace, George Boole, Alan Turing, Tim Berner, Robert Taylor, Time Berners-Lee, Faggin, Hoff & Mazor, Robert Metcalfe, and so many others.

I only know three of those names you listed.

I'm thinking about installing FFXI on my computer to provide motivation to get a job so I can play it. :P

Other than the two obvious names, the only other one I recognized was Turing.

Bjarne Stroustrup invented C++ in order to hike up developers' salaries...true story. :P

A new CEO of Apple would NOT be bad. Especially if your friend has ideas that don't include making larger, flatter iPhones.

Friend told me last time Jobs stepped down Apple almost went under.

We're waiting for him to die from brain overload when he accidentally discovers making real computers.

Dennis Ritchie made C, K&R (Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie) published the world famous C book that allowed people of any experience to start programming and caused a massive shift into the average consumer being able to program, O'Reilly (To be fair, his company) publishes books that bring computer science and programming language to users of any background and experience level, Bill Gates redefined the computer world, Bjarne Stroustrup made C++, one of the most influential languages (next to C) in the world, Linus Torvalds started Linux and changed the world because of it, Richard Stallman made the god damn GNU, the w3 convention keeps the internet progressing, Guido van Rossum made Python which has become the leading programming language to learn on so much so that students are being taught it in middle school, Ada Lovelace essentially conceptualized the usage of algorithms before computers were even made, George Boole made the boolean (which does a lot more than most people realize), Alan Turing pioneered computer logic, Tim Berner made the internet (essentially), Robert Taylor created the network theories and methods that we use today, Federico Faggin made the microprocessor with Hoff and Mazor, and Robert Metcalfe made the ethernet networks that we have today.

Steve Jobs didn't come close to any of them in any way.

I'm aware they open some games, but there are also ones not opened.. I'd never heard of them taking ***out of the package though.. I've bought PC games from Gamestop that were sealed, and I've bought games that weren't.. (and the dumbass #$%@ behind the desk tried to tell me I didn't need the manual [that had the *** registration codes printed on it])

She didn't seem to last too long though.. I only ever saw her the one time.. Most of the people I've seen working our local one are at least competent.

I thought being tired and going to bed at like 9:00 was a good thing.
I thought I'd be a regular human being and get my eight hours of sleep and wake up at a reasonable hour.
But noooooooooooo, my brain is all like "GET YOUR *** UP YOU SON OF A ***" at 12:30. So here I am :/
Likely to stay up til 5-7 AM til I get tired as hell again, then pass out and wake up past noon.

Holy hacking cough, chest pain, and phlegm balls! I'm so glad people are still up.
