Drama can only come if both parties get involved if the LS just ignores them it's not drama just a bunch of cry babies.

Are any of you guys on Palamecia? And good morning.

So the University here has a call system to give emergency messages to students quickly. Certain people call everyone with a last name A-D, others call everyone with a last name E-H, whatever and etc, and then an animated voice on the phone tells students the emergency. They put this into effect a couple years ago when a different university had a shooting that went on for a couple hours and they had no way to let all the students know who didn't know already.

So. For our safety, we got an emergency call around 6am to tell us that a hotel off-campus was being served a warrant by police. Not that it affects the safety of students on campus or is anyone's business... Then when we were just dozing back to sleep, we got another call to tell us that the police were gone from the hotel. You know, in case we wanted to go hang out in the lobby or something, idk. >.> Really.

There were two homicides (that I know of) here last night, which probably has something to do with this. But I'm still pretty sure that most Uni students don't just go hang out at random hotels on a Tuesday morning and if they did, the police were shoo them away til they were finished. The call system is supposed to be for emergencies! Sheesh.

bio only have lab on tue so just once a week, on thur i get out at 7 :P

Oops, I lied. Only one homicide here that I know of. The second one was told to me by someone who used to live here and moved away, so it's from where she lives now.

So the one here was, last night a 22 year old female student was shot and killed by an ex-professor who she'd had a restraining order against. :-( Well that's no good.

The one from out-of-town was some guy was found in the mountains murdered and mutilated with gang signs around his body. :/ So that sucks, too.

I'm not sure how old he was. The university let him go, I think when his problems with the girl started. I'm not sure exactly of their relationship, if they had been lovers or whatnot, or if it was just a revenge kill because she may have gotten him fired. It's a screwy situation all-round, either way. No one deserves to die at 22, far from home, by someone who was supposed to care about her well-being, though.

One of the teachers that teaches Computer Programing and Problem Solving got into deep ***with the FBI or something because he was selling information to Al Queda (funny thing is he's Caucasian)

edit: my bad it was his sister and the feds suspected him on helping his sister but they had no proof

he was demoted but still teaches one class.
