Ziggy got his story. I've played through all 3 extensively.
Shion's role wasn't really a huge one, but important nonetheless.
Jin's Role was more in line with Canaan's, while he also has a strong inkling about Chaos's real identity, but never reveals it expressly.
KOSMOS's role seems more appropriated to specific cutscenes storywise, than actual gameplay, despite being the best offensive and defensive character.
Chaos's role, if you can grasp every subtly surrounding him, is pivotal to the entire plot.
Shion's role wasn't really a huge one, but important nonetheless.

I assume CP is being abbreviated like they are since they are the "replacement" for exp much like limit points were their earlier replacement. However limit points never got a shortening because it really did just replace exp and so it was much easier to simply continue using the same term, on top of this the term was already relatively short meaning it had far less need for shortening.

I don't deal in 4chan or that kind of topic in general so it never struck me. Awkward to even hear that it's mentioned often enough to feel a need for a short hand acronym for it...

I loved the term but only ever saw Japanese players use it, which they also only ever used when referring to parties centered around receiving them rather than the actual merit points themselves. :<
