Didn't he also do Captain Uketake from Bleach?

I honestly think it comes down to SE messing with the formula of what makes a Final Fantasy game, a Final Fantasy game, and not any other anime story game.

Also, Xenosaga was fun, FFXIII isn't. Though I wouldn't mind trying Lightning Returns, I feel I'd regret buying it. I think some people can just pick up a diff game, and have fun with it just like any other, while others get connected. When they try something "similar", they get put off because of simple small things that just aren't what they like.
I know I'm that way. Kalila said: » I think some people can just pick up a diff game, and have fun with it just like any other, while others get connected. Legend of Legaia Alundra Shadow Hearts series. Wild Arms series. Just as much fun as any FF game, short of maybe 8 or Tactics. What would you say you liked in those games, that you don't see in others?

When they try something "similar", they get put off because of simple small things that just aren't what they like. I know I'm that way. I'm the opposite. If things stay the same too long I get bored of it. The older Final Fantasies has JUST enough change to keep me from feeling it was too repetitive. Going from Materia, to Junctions to Abilities gained via gear and then the Sphere Grid... And then I played XI and loved it. And I wanted a single player version and XII happened and it was SO different from the previous single player entries! It was absolutely FANTASTIC learning all the new mechanics of the game! Sure the story got weak towards the end of the game, but it was and still is better than a large majority any game ever. Everyone hates Vaan and Penelo, but I feel they grounded the roster. Everyone else is exotic or extremely important to the world as a whole. I wont lie, initially I thought XIII was boring because I just auto-battled everything. But then I started noticing little things I could do to improve my play and it suddenly because super fun. And I already loved the characters and the setting. And the music. I was a little annoyed, at first, that the story was mostly told through datalogs. But is that really SO different from the story being told through miss-able item descriptions? Mostly just rambling. I'm no essay writer. I haven't had a Final Fantasy game I could say I love in 10 years, while the ones who do have got three. I'd agree if there wasn't a song that was extremely well received by most of the fans that is just as heavy if not more so than the XIII-2 boss music.
And even so, the rest of the music in the game is phenomenal. Kalila said: » I guess it depends on where you use it in a game
That and the fact that "crazy chocobo" *** sucks Crazy Chocobo is hilarious and literally plays one time briefly unless you choose otherwise.

(some of my favorite songs are from FFX, so I'm just dumb) Why the F did they have to ruin Yuna.
What do you mean? With X-2?
stuff
Let's just say I liked Yuna the summoner more. Much more. Much much more. Much much much much more.
I pretend X-2 never happened
I haven't played X-2 in forever, but I don't remember her personality changing all the much. Perhaps a bit happier due to Rikku and Brother's influence?
Unless you mean her clothing. But I always figured the long robe/dress thing was a summoner/clergy type deal considering a great deal of Spira's climate is tropical. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just thinking about it makes me feel like
<-------- well.... before the candy :\ /steals the candy
