@Weakness: have you tried booting it up with just the board plugged in after reseating the ram/cpu?

from what we know so far, they'll have a more efficient TDP by a magnitude of 4 times; ergo, they'll run much cooler with much less heatsink capability... exactly four times less heat dissipation required. it's also going to be using a more efficient transistor arrangement in order to meet the requirements of a 14nm manufacturing process, and on a less interesting note, will reduce motherboard sizes by about 25% or allow motherboard manufacturers to pack in more goodies for almost the same cost as current boards.
they'll be similar to Kepler -> Maxwell; far more power and heat efficiency in addition to much higher overheads on performance. also cheaper DDR4 support
Sounds awesome, I'll have to keep that in mind if I go into the market for a new mobo or laptop within the next year.

PSU is fine, but won't post at all... Fans come on, but nothing else, just black screen.
Only thing I'm thinking of is the CPU got fried. It was OC'ed pretty high 24/7 for the past few years.
It's possible, but have you tested the psu? and yeah when I get that it's either the psu, mobo or just needs a reseating, if you have a multimeter and a piece of wire you can test the psu.
I'll plug it up to an old board or my wife's PC later.
Already bought a new CPU/mobo and yanked everything out. Gave my case a good cleaning, but may try a reseat before I toss it in the recycle.
