I used to like esdeath in a "she's so crazy it's amusing" kind of way, but then I read all the current material and had a sad. Still a neat character, but repulsive as a person to me. Though that's likely how the author wanted it.

Trying not to spoil it too bad, but in the novels Esdeath does something to another character that just made me kinda hate her as a person. Was far beyond any describable form of cruelty.
Maybe I'm just soft but it legitimately made me feel sick.

Well there are Light Novels that are mostly text, it's like a normal book with pictures every now and then to maybe show a location or character

Webtoons are Korean comic strips that are drawn like manga but are in full color and you read them in the long strip format (scroll down, no pages but enough to fill about 20-30 pages generally). These also have more creative freedom compared to manga so you get some really original stories, as long as they meet their deadlines (which they can be pretty lax about) they get to write and draw mostly whatever. Very rarely does a webtoon get axed, I've only heard about one and that was because she was constantly late with her work and didn't seem to care much.

Manhwa is Korean manga, just like Japanese manga except generally read from Left to Right instead of Right to Left

Edit: This was the song that played in the background of the chapter, it's not really a thing on English websites but the Korean ones often have background music or sound effects that trigger when you scroll down to certain parts

Just got around to watching ep1 of Kamen Rider Drive. Aside from the slight mood whiplash before the OP, I think it's a pretty solid start. Or at least as solid as the start of any other recent KR.
