So... getting exceptionally *** sick of living at my parent's house after just one short month. Really starting to think this was just a terrible idea and school isn't worth it.

Oh you bought Dr Peppers and put them in the back fridge and want a cold one when you get home from work? Lolnope, pulled them out to put my beer in.

Oh you were planning on bringing your own internet over so you wouldn't have to *** about it? Lolnope got the same provider as you a week before you moved in so you get to break you 2 year contract and pay $500 even though you had already explained you had Charter and were going to bring it over so we didn't fight over the internet.

Oh you wanted to download ***faster than 100 kB/s? Lolnope, I have a shitty router I don't want you to replace even though you offered to buy me one for Christmas and I don't want you to run a wired connection through the attic.

Oh you wanted to sleep in on your day off? Lolnope, I'mma let the dogs in the house at 8 AM so they be loud as *** and them yell at them because they are being loud as ***.

Yeah... my Dad was always a douche growing up, but I never realized how much I honestly just didn't *** like him until I got to be an adult. If this were a room mate, I would of crotch punched them and kicked them out by now.

I know I know, first world problems. But going from being completely independent and living happily with your wife to having to put up with stupid ***on a daily *** basis really starts to get on your nerve. I really don't think I'm going to make it another year before there is a tragic gun cleaning accident that leaves my dad dead.

I was in Bismarck for like 3 years, I think. But yeah, most of the time I just stuck with my tight-knit circle of friends. Never really did the whole searching for groups thing.

These things are annoyances at best. Take it from someone who's had to suffer through living with his father for years (I'm not going to say how many...); in the long run, it's worth it to ensure a better future. It's only a couple years and you can tell him to suck it.

Also, I've learned that our relationship works best if I stay the hell away from him and his wife as much as possible. My room is my fortress.

I know it is all small stupid ***... but to best explain my relationship with my dad,

I tell people my dad is dead even though he is still (unfortunately) alive and married to my mother.

My siblings and I had a bet on how long it would take my parents to divorce after everyone moved out. We all lost because the longest bet was a year.

I honestly believe I would of been better off without a father at all than the one I grew up with.

So having to deal with him on a *** daily basis takes a lot of self control. I know everything I listed were small inconveniences at worst, but it is just the fact he is still alive that grates on me the most. I'm trying to improve my life, improve my wife's life, and be happy... but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it 2 years before I finally just *** snap.

I just ran a wired connection on the floor through the kitchen... I'm downloading at 1mB/s (still slower than I'm used to, but can't complain about a 10x improvement), streaming music, mfc up in the background, and doing this now.

I'm drilling holes in the ceiling tomorrow.

Well, if it's a doctorate level grammarian, then I'm not going to mess with that. But my reasoning is, he's using the conjunction to join two similar ideas as it's an order to do two different things. The "you do" part is implied and instead it's a list of two different verbs in the line of suggestions. So, to make it superfluous but still correct, you could rewrite it as "You need to stop being a *** and you need to persevere."

Indie Game "To the Moon" Gets Special Holiday Mini-Episode

Anyone who's had a chance to download and play Kan Gao's indie game To the Moon can now devour a new treat in the form of a Holiday Special mini-episode. The downloadable addition is available via the Freebird Games website and as a patch for the Steam version.

According to Gao, the minisode featuring Dr. Watts and Dr. Rosalene takes about 20 minutes to complete. Don't expect too much drama, but fans of the game should enjoy the lighthearted side story.

As for Gao's next game, A Bird Story, its oft-delayed release date is still to be decided.
