I play when I have stuff to do, so usually I spend a lot of time on the game the first couple weeks after an update then idle for a month until there's something new. I'll quit when nothing new looks interesting enough to play for.

You've pearled easily 30 new people in the last 6 months, mostly cross-server. Most of the 'same people' that you had in your linkshell for ages have quit or gotten sick of you. Will you ever be realistic about the state of ffxi, or are you so far in denial that it's impossible for you?

You're in the only endgame-sized linkshell left on leviathan, and you don't even let all of your members participate in your AA runs. To pretend the game is encouraging to anyone but a select few is laughable.

What is actually laughable is you thinking you know anything about my LS. All of my LS members have AA wins and we've beaten DM multiple times. We do things everyday, including AA/DM and older content. I still have people I've played with for over 2~3 years in my linkshell(one I've played with for over 5ish years lol), stop pretending like you know anything about us.

Nothing in my post is unrealistic about FFXI. Why are you so obsessed with me that you need to respond? Does it bother you that much?

Here's a better idea, take it to PMs.

More than one of your members has asked me to let them tag along to AA, or outright asked to purchase AA wins. For that matter, Comedies is always asking me to buy gil as well.

One group that can't even keep up with their own members isn't enough to keep content going. Without touching on the quality of your LS, it's a cold hard fact that you can't provide content for the entirety of the server. Someone coming back without existing connections does not have access to grouping, does not have access to much of the new content at all. This is something that's relevant to them, and their question. You wanting it to be otherwise will not make it so.

The entire point of replying is so that the person who asked doesn't receive a one-sided opinion of the game. It would be pointless to take it to PMs. Grow up and ignore the posts if they don't interest you.

Keep it civil. Yes, I know it's a social thread dedicated to no topic but there are various other threads that cover the state of FFXI whether the threads were founded on that topic or they were derailed to it. Everyone has the right to post here as long as you follow the unwritten rule; don't be a douche.
