Half the gear from 2.1 I don't even want for the stats/solely for the stats.

I want it for the looks.

I think that's kinda the point since over half of it is lower than what we could already get :P

CT gear is also in the item database on the lodestone. It's juuust under i90 gear. For example the i80 feet for pld have 17 vit while i90 have 20.

Also like/hate how every allagan weapon aside from blm (unless you find out where the ancient buckler is) just became bis no matter what.

Either way, I know the people that work at the Subway I go to, so I know what I'll be doing later.

I take it you got food poisoning from them...

Oh yeah, lots of times...

my friend told me to stay away from the lettuce but that's like 90% of the sandwich lol.

So what are the big boy weapons and gears all called. I keep seeing people talking about Allagan, darksteel, relic, and last night I saw someone shouting about "myth" gear. Do the weapons from the primals fall somewhere in there as well or are those just novelty at this point?

Uhhhh, Titan weapons are just about always better than NQ relics atm. Primal extreme ilvl90 weapons are sometimes better than Zenith relics. Allagan/mythology gear is the best armor. CT Gear is really close to those.

Relic is the myth gear, you buy it with myth tokens. People call it AF+1 and AF2 but that's not really correct because SE has AF2 planned for later and it looks different. They changed +1 weapons to "Zenith" now as well.

Curious where that will stand. Better stats than allagan and relic, but 89 less block strength for 114 more block rate.

I'm thinking it should be best in slot since pld takes so little damage without blocking and it'll just help mitigate damage more often. Has to come from primal extremes rather than CT because of it's ilvl.

Didn't see much on block rate but there is quite a bit on block strength.

Edit: Block/Parry

Damage Reduction = (0.0876 x Shield Block) + 9.7804 + (STR Tier)

15(.855)% reduction vs 8(.059)% reduction on block.

Can't find differences on block rate, but it would have to block a little less than twice as often.

Sketchy source on block rate

Quote:
(block rate/10)

18(.1)% vs 29(.5)%.

38% more blocks. 46% less block damage.

Close tbh, only thing I see benefiting onion shield is shield swipe procs. But allagan should be better.

Oh, that's the Vigna Ghina from F91. ^^ Was used by the original Crossbone Vanguard, so it's a little before the time of the Crossbone Gundams. There was a Berga Giros (another Crossbone Vanguard suit) in ep 10, too. It was the purple one with the lance.
