Use to be where I had my RSS feed link, but no one used it so I stopped doing it. So I just removed it and left the skeleton in cause I was lazy.


It looks complicated, and understandably so, but the most difficult part of all of this was creating the template to begin with, which was an evolving process over a few months as I was teaching myself BBCode / HTML.

When I started posting news I knew absolutely no HTML (besides some very very simple things). My few dozen news posts was just text inside a quote, and that was too boring for me so I decided to teach myself BBCode/HTML to make things pretty. Some of my early templates were quite ugly compared to now.

Once you have a template, you only need to fill out the 7 parts I listed above, which takes 2 min or so, unless you need to format the body as well which can take some time. Otherwise it's quite easy to make a news post, just wish I could figure out a way to automate it all, but I guess it's cool to know that I manually worked on each and every post myself and didn't have some automated tool do it for me.



But yea, that's how my template works :)
