Oh i dont really have problems with my friends (except 1 because he became a completely different person). Its just general shyness even to the point of ignoring people and not saying hi or talking back to people

you can either get on medication to make you so *** up you don't care (xanax), try therapy, or deal with it.
i have to deal with it every day, and most people don't think it's an issue i'd have. i do though. i remember being in high school, walking in, seeing all the people, feeling weird, and then just leaving and going back home. i couldn't deal with people. even though i still have problems even with friends, i overcome it. i have to in order to actually live my life.

my biggest pet peeve with ads on youtube is that i shouldn't get an ad if i watch a movie preview. i'm not gonna watch an ad, to watch an ad.

You can either just build it up the moment before socializing, like chanting in your mind to just go out there and say hi.
My dad...he didnt know how to talk to a woman...he came to me saying he was nervous, dint know what to say... All i told him was to just say hello and ask how she is doing and her day...
After that, my dad had a different woman every week til he found one to date

really it just boils down to admitting you have a problem, and to stop making excuses. you can't do something if you don't actually do it.

Idk for sure, as my problems are only with large groups of people, but as Aly already mentioned booze can help a great deal.
if that's not an option, try to be mindful of the anxiety, & when you feel it, recoginze it, & try to let it wash over you & away. it helps to try to remember it's only a temporary state of being, & that you can escape it.
if you're just all up in your head about people's reaction's to your words, that's just something you have to, as the christians say, "learn to accept the things you can not control"
idk if any of that helps, but wtf, it's worth a shot.
