I probably socialize more because of texting and email than I normally would if every interaction required a phone call or personal meeting. Some tasks do require that voice or face-to-face interaction but so many little issues or questions pop up where it's more efficient and simple to just send a quick text or 1-2 sentence email.
Plus text conversations can be hilarious if one or both of the participants are drunk.

I hate texting as well so I just ignore it like it never existed. My friends get annoyed I never answer any of their text. I'll only answer their call or voice message.

Battle system is average but I like the humor and story. Only thing I hate about the remake on the PS1 is they changed the battle music which blows compared to the Sega CD version.

Don't get me wrong, i still use emails at work to take care of the little things. I just really prefer the face to face approach. And i agree with Dilandu, I will ignore every text sent to me. Call me and if i don't pick up, it is because i do not want to be bothered or i am doing something at the moment, leave a messege on the answering machine, IT'S THERE FOR A DAMNED REASON!
No messege = no call back.

Guess I don't see the point in ignoring texts. It's just another form of communication that's functionally equivalent to leaving a voice message.

I wouldn't have no problem with texting but it's never ending. Some of my friends just text way too frigging much.
Example Friend "What are you doing?" Me "Playing a game" Minute later what game? Tell him what game. Another minute later. Is it fun? ***never ends until you stop texting him back.
