Frobeus said: If you invite any of these jobs expecting them to be ready to pull then you fail as PT lead. Yes, people, it was bound to happen, but Frobeus shows up just to argue with me. RDMs may not agree to it but, if you're a tank and you don't have a real designated puller, you're every bit as culpable as your leader for not getting a puller. I mean with voke, you obviously have the 17-foot range, and it's instant, and the first person to get hate on a mob gets a big boost in how much hate they get from that JA/Attack/Spell, so I don't see why a tank wouldn't pull if you didn't have a BRD or something. That being said, it might just me. I tend to go the extra mile on most jobs. I have tanked on SAM, WAR, MNK, etc.

What annoys me slightly is when someone dies in a party and the healer (assuming WHM) says "Sorry, I couldn't target you in time!" First of all, macros are your friend. Second, I believe a lot of this problem is that many players haven't realized yet that if you scroll up or down with your D-pad (PS2 or Xbox), you can cycle through you party/alliance only. I have this mental image of some noob desperately trying to target some by scrolling through every damn target on their screen. I understand that there are particular circumstances that could prevent a healer from rescuing a DD from KO, but from my experience this is the most common (and frustrating) reason.

PLD: You had better be resting as much as possible between every single fight. Having your pld run off after every fight is really going to screw with their MP regain.
NIN: It's a shadow problem mostly. Many Nin like to take the short time between battles to cancel out half gone shadows and re-up with a fresh set to keep count more easily. Also for a nin there is a good chance they could have their shadows wiped by the inc mob before they get to camp, in which case getting shadows back up when they get to camp could be troublesome.
For both: If they have to use voke to pull then your going to have some hate issues. Since Voke's hate is completely gone in 30 seconds, by the time the tank got back to camp, it's likely voke timer won't be up yet and most of the hate from the original voke has already worn.

I used to party in a static with a pld who no longer plays, but it would make me SO mad when I was a rng trying to pull colibris and he would run out and provoke one. More than once he provoked a different one than I was pulling and I did not feel sorry for him at all when that happened and he had to tank two. Served him right, he should have sat his butt in camp and rested.

From a main healers perspective, (both as DNC and WHM) it's irritating as all hell when people stand there in the yellow between fights. Even if it's just for 1 tick, it's still better then nothing... Only possible exception would be areas where TP loss can't be negated by sigil/signet. Everywhere else...you'd better be freaking resting.

Yeah, but even so, people could still rest from time to time. I watch people, if they just put the mob down with a WS, they don't have TP. They need to rest. But most don't...

No, but meripo for example. They should at least /sea zones before inviting people. Its very annoying to get invited only to have the leader say sorry all the camps are full or to take you out somewhere just to camp on top of someone else.

Leading can prove to be difficult. I mean, you don't want to keep a whole EXP/Merit PT waiting while you look around for a camp, but you also don't want to hold a camp and then decide to start looking for members. It prevents another party that is ready to go, to gain EXP/Merit. Most likely people will just camp on top of you if you are holding, anyways.

This is what just grinded my gears:
When someone is camping something and they don't even need the item it drops.
Was just in Onzozo camping Moldy Earring with a friend (1 other person there, a RDM). We didn't know ToD so we just hung out there for a while. After about 1hr50mins this *** *** Princebob (66WAR/DNC from Thanatos LS) comes in and starts killing a few things. I told my friend that he's not in a pt and can't kill the NM alone. He puts his flag up while he was killing stuff. Around the 2hr25min mark he was running by me, I turned my camera and I see the NM pop in the same direction he was running, we were both close enough to voke...and he got it first, so I thought 'For *** sakes'. He didn't take our invite but he took an invite from that RDM that was there. He died shortly after from an AM spell which made me happy. The RDM had a hard time, 2 links, and only killed it just before dying from the links. I was pissed at that *** *** bob so I chose not to help her. He obviously wasn't there to help her specifically cause she would have invited him a long time ago. What the *** is the point of claiming something you don't need, I don't *** get it. ***!

If they can do something to make the server as a whole a worse place, they will do it and they will do it without shame.
