As far as some anime is concerned, it is. At least in girls, with a few exceptions with guys in some anime/manga.
Lately though, a more anatomically correct style of anime has been more prominent. Persona, Death Note and Ghost in the Shell type stuff.

I really liked everyone's entries except for Spence's. I'd vote for him if this were about voting for the MEANEST DRAWINGS EVER but alas, it is not. Therefore I shall give my vote tooooooooo Linear! for drawing from the heart, much like I did. <3
I woulda voted for Shotzie but... I couldn't figure out how corn on the cob reapers that bled hearts tied into aspirations... still... love that drawing! lol

Aww...it's the funniest, coolest idea that wins anyhow, not the best-crafted. :) And everyone gets to share in the lulz of it all when we all post, regardless of how super-polished or down-and-dirty they all are. ^^ (Or even eww-dats-dirty they all are...) :p
