I second this really seems like treasure hunter doesnt help at all obviously 1 persons experiences isnt enough to go by but as blm/rdm i got 3 before thf friend joined me duoed for 2 hours got nothing, he just left and I got 2 more. been at this for 5 hours, only seen 5 drop total and i won the lot of only 3 of them
Formed a 6-man party with LS-mates and headed to Bhaflau Thickets through Nyzul Isle Investigation entrance. Got drop off a Greater Colibri. Party broke and decided to go solo rather than get 30 Kindred's Crest. So I went into Arrapago Reef with two friends. Together, we trio'd the area from the Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point to about G-9 and back, killing everything along the way. We got 13 Kindred's Crest from the following mobs: Ashakku x3, Phasma, Merrow Shadowdancer x4, Merrow Chantress x4, and Merrow Icedancer x2. Not a single drop came from any Jnun, Skeletons, or even any Imp mobs (though an LS mate said they'd gotten theirs off of the Heraldic Imp).

Also see: The 5-Minute Rule Didnt they change the lvl of mobs in this zone among a few others in AU, did you notice any mobs there check higher than tough? Only flayer lamia toxophilite typhoondancer and a few others should check high tough at 80, nothing used to be VT or above I believe. 6 hours... not a single seal... *** me.

much as i want to have increased drop rates, i have a sulking feeling that they wont do it. what is the current drop rate listed on wiki? cant view it on phone =/
They were dropping like crazy in a friend's abyssea-kons party apparently.

T would mean 81+ 9 in 6 hours. thf and bst duo near dragons aery. treasure hunter seems to help very well.
Although it sucks least it is more like the old style quests where it actually took time to do (read the paper drop off skeles in the necropolis) people are so babied nowadays.
Updates been out less then 24 hours iI don't think its THAT bad really. well havent had time to get on it after starting update at 7.45pm last night still only 67% finished at 12.30am then more maintence now :(

Got 5/5 and 1/5 for someone else in the span of like 3 1/2 hours, and that includes tons of jumping around to find a decent place to do it. Really.. of all the things SE could of done, and has done, this is pretty mild. I bet (my update took 11 hours lol) I just think some people have forgotten what FFXI used to be like before Magian and extreme dumbing down or just were not around. |
