Some ls mates and i went out and killed jormy today (the level 95 dragon in ulegerand range) with 9 bst's 2 smn's and a sam along for the title.
Figure with a few more bst's might have a shot at taking out vrtra as well.

I like this idea, it's too bad i'm not a bst or smn (or on Siren, for that matter) :( I like it, though, because I NEVER see people going after Vrtra anymore. Everyone is so caught up in Dynamis, Einherjar, Abyssea, etc., that no one ever goes after them anymore it seems... or else, when I do my random /sea's, I just get unlucky and see no one besides mostly newb's in the Tomb doing the Sandy missions, lol. But if you get the people, good luck and have fun! :D

That's a common Mistake. Vrtra is actually far easier than Jormungand(Who is actually the strongest of the 3 CoP Wyrms). if you are only considering the NM. What makes it hard, isn't even the Adds Vrtra spawns, but the clusterfuck in the Tomb. A pet alliance virtually negates that disadvantage.
Too bad this isn't happening on the Odin server, I'd be on that ***like flies on... well.. ***. Anything that helps shake the lolbst stereotype and further the cause of our order is something I jump on!

We have a all pet ls over here that does funny things. Or maybe used to since I haven't seen them in awhile. That and alot of times it's easier and/or with less people to do normally than all pet jobs lol

The only problem i see with Vrtra is the Cluster-*** of Undead and the Adds he spawns.
Also he can use Sleepga II, and his Wing move inflicts sleep no?
Pets might be asleep a lot damaging DoT to the point it might get dangerous.
SMN solves most of the this being able to release and such but =x

yah we done byakko a few times the way you guys did suzy in that video. Byakko dies under 5 mins.

I could be wrong but doesn't reward wake BST pets up? although use of reward is limited to its reuse timer i know :/
And yeah for the SMN can just release and resummon, and a SMN/SCH can wake up from either a charging sublimation or swapping into sacrifice torque if they get hit with sleep
Adds shouldnt be a problem, Ramuh eats skeles for breakfast with chaotic strike :P
