Just reworked my RNG lua this morning, and a couple questions com up when I look at verda's preshot sets.

1- Is there another reason not using the Amini Caban +1, other than being hit wby an aoe while preshooting?

2-In Capuchin's sets, I see (correct me if i'm wrong) 60 Snap, asking into account most likely what is 5/5 Snap merits, which I do not debate. However does those sets takes into account the gifts we get for the two gifts of 5% velocity you get along the master road?

Please see this post as nothing more than trying to contribute to RNG community! I really enjoy reading you all, and really appreciate your prompt answers when I need them!

you shouldn’t be hit in pre shot gear, its just like fast cast gear.

velocity shot bonus isn’t the same as snapshot

Hmm thanks for the input, Austar.

I reread Velocity Shot page, and it seems it was understood differently at the time Verda made his sets.

Time to rework my LLUAs i guess, but I can't afford Haverton over Weatherspoon...

There are tons of non-Haverton preshot builds in these sets, between the ones I posted at the start of this thread and capuchin's linked sets in the OP. In fact, I really think most RNGs will get more mileage out of a Weatherspoon vs. a Haverton. Corsair, however, really benefits from that Haverton, and if you're primarily a COR, the debate becomes harder.

Scout's Gorget +2 and the availability of cheap Adhemar Kecks +1 has changed what you can achieve with these sets. The totals reflect the bonus added by the gear (not including any main sub range ammo)

For the Gastra non Flurry set, you can use Taeon Chapeau/Yemaya Belt/Adhemar Kecks +1 for the same result although I feel any set that avoids capped Taeon Head is better so I elected to choose those pieces.
