Hickory Lumber

Dropped from Blizzard, Frost, Graupel, and Hail Gigas in Xarcabard. You can bazaar them, but you can't auction, send, or NPC them. Also used in Chocobo furnishing recipes ("[color] Hobby Bo") and Leather pot recipe.

The drop rate for this is terrable.
I spent 4 hours with thf subed and final got it, I end up leaving with 11k of gil from killing the mob just to get this lumber.

alright. these are kinda nice. trying to farm my Gothic gantlets. anyone thats tryed that can tell you... its not fun, after 2 days i look in my inventory and have a full stack of these. so thats going to be crafted into 6 hickory shields and hopefully get at least 3 of the shields from the NM so thats 1.5m profit in 2 days if all goes well, if shields get HQed the the chances of more drops are better. if i were to get a shield on every drop that would be a nice profit of 3m and sadly, iv yet to get the gloves,

Got very lucky farming the lumber. Two lumber in an hour and Gothic Gauntlets from the first chest I managed to open. LS members were jealous, especially since not of my jobs can equip it yet ;) Guess it's true that if you aren't looking for something, it drops all the time.

I disagree with Crawlerbasher, I went to farm some of this lumber and as 75pld/thf I got 4 pieces of lumber in just over 1 hour. In saying that though I was very lucky as a friend with TH3 was farming at the same time an took over 2 hours to get 2 pieces.
