Why can't players gear a job like NIN because they like to play it? The cost of the weapon has more to do with the cost of the materials, and because there are very few +1.

I admit among all of the models they chose, choosing the Sai was a good idea. When I think of Ninja I think of twin Sais, and choosing it for a weapon like this really speaks volumes in terms of looking the part for your job.
(Note I have no knowledge of Ninja save for the basics, my comment is not to be taken seriously other than aesthetic critique)

Yes, iLevel119 Kannagi is better than this weapons 10x over lmao! In fact this weapon isn't even close to the top weapon anymore. Skirmish+2 is better, AA weapon is better, Delve weapon when upgraded is also a nice weapon. So... This weapon isn't all that great so price is over rated.
Unfortunate thing about this is that it shares a mat (Bztavian Wing) that's used to make the new 9%/10% haste belt. So a crafter would have to decide to either make this or that (or a magic acc cape, lol).
