The enhances Sic and Ready wouldn't boost damage sure, but pets have more than DD abilities, plus tp can boost things in other ways, like fantod attack boost or duration of Spiral Spin acc down effect. Not to mention boosting LL cure potency. It really would work for any pet to have this so long as you can actually engage.
Thautu not all things are engageable. Some nms have some nasty AOE damage and the bst does have to stand back, even in a best geared situation, there is nothing gimpy about it. It is called survival. That is the point of bst, your pet does the work. If there is a time you can engage safely you bet your *** the master will be right there with the pet, but when you are dead so is your pet and there is no use calling someone gimpy for staying alive.
Attack Bonus 5 is always active and thats like a free berserk for your pet always on. (without the - DEF from berserk). Enhances sic and ready is like a Hagun for your Pets TP attacks. You and your pet get to Double/Triple attack for 5 whole mins. I don't see what the hate is on this pet from some people unless I'm overlooking
something.
I don't see how this weapon is "situational," and I certainly don't see how you can say burtgang is NOT situational. Almace would like a word with you.
I agree that this is a good axe. I never said it wasn't. But I do not believe it to be worth 300M or more. All I tried to say is that there are other weapons that have the same, if not, close to the same stats that this does. Without spending 300M...
Why all this hostility over the eliteness of an axe that nobody posting here even owns. Yet all act like they do and know.
Plain and simple; it's a good axe, so is Guttler. I'm not saying either is better than the other. But Aymurs' stats are not worth 300M+. It's too situational of a weapon. Now Burtgang on the other hand. That's another story.
Jug Pet weapon skills are not affected by TP% like the damage multipliers of Characters' weapon skills. So anything over 100 TP is not going to improve a pet's weapon skills. So whether it's 10 or 100 TP boost, it still doesn't matter. 48 Attack on a pet is nice, but with the stats a pet already has it's really not much. The Aftermath is unbeatable but only reasonably usable mashing through low level mobs. Not endgame content. I agree with Mavix; this is not worth 300m and there are many better choices out there that are a fraction the price or even free with just a little invested time.
Also Xredx, I agree with your final statement to a degree. But you are not entirely correct either. Since the beginning of Vana'diel time most everything in this game suited for "Endgame" is typically situational. Why should you always play gimpy in comparison, having to stand back and watch your pet do everything for you because you're too weak to take or cause any front line damage? Balance it out.
