Wow this piece imo doesn't recieve enough credit.

Decent defence, shield, eva, parrying and one of the few pieces that actually increase guard skill.

This thing is practically glued to my back on PLD except for enmity generating purposes or Magic Defence.

Hands down the best soloing cape available. Especially for PLDs. 3/4 stats are PLD specific. And then just macro swap in DD mantle for WSs and you're set.

With the update to parry and guard skill ups, both skills are easy to cap now, meaning their relevancy is increased. As a Thief and Ninja, the evasion on Boxer's Mantle is the main draw, but the parry skill is an added bonus with a renewed significance.
