Im going to take a wild stab in the dark and predict 2 things:-

1. You want one and can't afford it.

2. You couldn't be bothered to level goldsmithing and are jealous of those who took the time and invested the gils to be able to make this with a degree of consistancy.

I think that its abundantly clear that your not paying for the materials here your paying for the skills required to make it and the countless millions that it took to aquire those skills.

Either pay the price or level goldsmithing and make one. The choice is simple and more importantly the choice is yours.

Being a lvl 78 synthesis even at 100+3 only a 10% hq chance, add in what Svennie says and 77% profit on a hq doesnt sound as bad as you make out

Crafts take forever to skill and cost a ton. Also remember that with demand the price will rise if supply is low.
