Dalmatica

This item is obtained by having the cursed item "Cursed Dalmatica" or "Cursed Dalmatica -1" and by having the Abjuration Item "Aquarian Abjuration: Body" which can be obtained from the following NM's: Aspidochelone, Nidhogg, and Odin. Finally, it may also be obtained through Einherjar. Once those pieces are obtained, you must go to the cathedral in Northern San d'Oria and talk with Alphollon C Meriard. He will offer to perform a ceremony to purify any cursed item you have; trade him both the abjuration item and the appropriate cursed item to receive the usable armor or consumable item.

This is the best body piece for a RDM (aside for morrigans robe of course). Pair it with a Duelist's chapeau and wow. You can get a solid 5mp/tick in reg areas, 6 in ToAU, and 7 in assault if we have a balrahn ring.

Sure Minipie... The only problem is you need like 12m to buy the Imperial Wootz Ingots for Morrigan's robe. This is only like 1m to uncurse.

Jesus, are you that retarded? I'm talking about for IDLE. Obviously Morrigan's Robe is the best robe for nuking. For IDLE, Dalmatica is the best piece there is for all the jobs that can wear it. If you disagree with me, that Morrigan's Robe is a better IDLE piece, then please post your reasoning. You can't say Dalmatica is garbage when it's clearly the best IDLE piece for any mage that can wear it. I did some caps lock key work on the IDLEs so you don't miss them this time. I'm guessing you're just one of those sweet RDMs that full time's morrigan's all the time and thinks they're doing a good job. News flash, you're not =(.

Well Morri robe isn't harder to obtain Minipie, but it's both Rarer, more time and effort consuming (dont mistake effort for difficulty), and more expensive. Morrigan's is better depending on what you're using it for, but this is in no way outdated.

I truthfully don't mind sacrificing 2 inventory spots to use Dalmatica and Crimson Scale Mail instead of Morrigan's Robe. This of course is for Rdm only. Using those two for the purpose of what a rdm is really suppose to be doing is superior to what a morrigan's robe has to offer. On the other hand, if you have blm as well, and not many other jobs, you may want to go the Morrigan's route. I just can't justify spending that much gil on one item.

this is crap now, if you're a mage ull be better with af3+2 body, that gives refresh tic +2, way better than any of the crappy augs offered for this outdated item
