Well, if I have to pick a favorite song ever...

It would probably be Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

I love it because it takes you on an emotional roller coaster. It starts softly and worries you, but then it builds suspense up until the "Escape", which brings on a big adrenaline rush. Then it makes a flawless transition back to the soft ending. The ending is awe-inspiring and brought tears to my eyes the first few times. The line "Nothing really matters to me" makes me have a momentary feeling of carelessness that is rather comforting.

Plus it's very fun to sing on karaoke night, and few people can actually sing it. So, I never have to worry about someone stealing it. :)
