It had been acting up for a bit, telling me I was running out of room and needed to delete stuff. Finally it said 100% full and shut down.
The tech tried plugging it into a functional PC as an external drive hoping that window's disk recovery system could at least get it running enough to extract data. It locked his machine and got hot.
He is not a data recovery specialist. Is there any chance that anything could be recovered from this inert lump of silicon by a specialist? Other than slim or fat.
Thanks.
