Abyssea is old hat now, but is the math or testing out there for Atma mix?

Hell's Guardian/Ultimate/Smoldeing Sky is what I've been using.

Without brew up I can see that beating a setup with Griffin's Claw.

Edit: Also, Seha, you're a terrible Corsair. This looks like a lot of work. What kind of Corsair wastes all this time for other people's benefit? Goin' soft, I tell ya.

(That is to say, nice work.)

Oh, the atmas I posted were strictly for brews actually! Of course there's no need for Griffon outside of brew, your set is correct!

Ultimate is better instead of Lone wolf?

Very nice guide Seha ;D, but to be picky:

2x MND ring for Req WS I think.

Can add roller's ring and other elemental Obi to situational swap. Roller's ring with a No.11 roll on for regain, elemental Obi for Last Stand spam on ice/thunder/earth/water/wind days.

Khepri body for LS for racc(which you'll most likely need in VW with RCB+Thaumas 4/5)or if pDIF capped.

Edit: And Artemis' Medal on Fullmoon.

Believe so. Not iron clad on that, though. Just don't do enough Abyssea anymore.

But, maybe it's cause I just woke up and don't get it, but why do you say obi for Last Stand? o.o

For QD I mean DX, sorry if unclear.

You don't need to stuck with fire shot with last stand, so if you use same elemental QD as the day of the week, as long as it's not light/dark and NM doesn't have special resistance, you do more QD dmg with Obi.

Probably works the best with Mythic owner too.

Dynamis

If you’re in Dyna just to farm, going melee as dancer sub is again your best choice, however let me warn you that solo is a tough thing for cor and links can be easily fatal to you. However if you’re in duo with a friend cor suddenly becomes a wonderful buddy for dyna-farming, Regain+Attack rolls being often the best combo to use for this situation.

Oo and another thing: For dyna or lowman lower lv content, evasion set can help a bit of survive-ability/oh-***moment. Not that most ppl will do dyna /lower lv content on this job anyways.

For Wildfire users Slayer is the most important of them all, with Destruction and Shrewd being the second best.

Atmacite Shrewd: Damage taken -10% "Magic Atk. Bonus"+10 Magic Accuracy+15 Enmity-10

Atmacite Mysticism: MP+5% AGI+5 "Magic Atk. Bonus"+10

Ehhh...evasion on cor only goes so far with such a lowbie rank <.< thought it wasn't worth posting one, but we can add that too.

As for atmacites, if I have to chose between DT, macc and enmity vs agi(who cares about mp?)...well I'da take Shrewd anytime.
But speaking of atmacites, we still need to test if Addle is bad for Wildfire(I suppose it is), cause otherwise Assailment would be amazing.

Should totally put in a parry spam set to Utilize that A+ skill ;) :P
But yeah, evasion would work for dynamis farming and other easy stuff, but I would'n say it's worth bringing around on COR, unless ofc very hardcore COR that likes to be prepared for anything :P

Better idea, I'll just put it in the Dyna section, since there isn't really any other place where you'd use one! :o

DX it saved my life from dyna DC mob/link so many times! D; although I don't do dyna on COR anymore, need 2 ppl to be effective when I can just solo on BLU without waiting for other ppl, lose gil when I farm gil etc.....

Very nice stuff :D.

Since you've made this I guess I'll post my COR Calculator to add to it~ Its based on those FFXI DPS calculators going around, except it doesn't actually calculate DPS, just your QD and Wildfire damage. It's nice to test the effects of gear though. Still working on it, will put Leaden Salute and stuff into it eventually. The equipment, atma and enemy list is pretty empty but its easy to add stuff to it really. I'm sure I *** something up in it, so if anyone has any errors lemme know~.

How about a tricks of the trade section? I'm about 70% done with my gun and have been observing how CORs play. One of the things that keeps me going is perfecting a new job ^^

Some things you can add:

- Having an eleven roll gives you several bonuses such as: resetting phantom roll timer, halving the phantom roll recast, unlimited busting on the 2nd roll.

- In an event such as provenance, most alliance leaders will have the CORs in each party get double 11s while outside the bcnm to save time. Once this is achieved you can lock yourself in a cut scene to preserve these buffs if other CORs are wrestling lady luck to get their 11s.

- When is the best time to use fold? Nowadays the trend seems to be double 11s or go home. Therefore I think it's best to use fold when you get that first bust even if you do have the augmented gear to have a chance to remove double busts, just one bust can ruin your day.

- When is the best time to use snake eye? With the new description on the merit ability this can become unclear. To me personally I would only use it when:

1) My first roll is 10, and I want that initial 11
2) I've busted and used fold, my re-roll is 7+, I'll chance it for that 11
3) I have an 11 roll, I've rolled a 10 or just 1 below the lucky number on the 2nd roll, use snake eye to save time and preserve buff timer on 1st roll

- Logging out or zoning clears bust statuses

Just my humble 4 cents or so, I'm still wrapping my mind around the job so feel free to add or correct anything.
