Food for levels 1 ~ 20
Grilled black hare will last until like level 30 easy, then mithkabobs for a long time probably.
For those low levels I always liked rolanberry pie with cassie earring.
Sometimes I used Jack-o-lanterns for the straight ACC and EVA bonuses as well. I always found Jack-o to give the biggest boost in those lvls though Rice Dumplings are pretty sweet too.
a fun and impractical food is ambrosia!
Since he's being PLed, and probably just beating up EPs and DCs like he should, acc and evasion won't really be useful, and more attack means he'll kill faster.
That's true didn't think about him having a pl. Yea Grilled hair would have the best boost.
Yeah, ambrosia is awesome for low levels as long as you're careful not to die. Have even used it for parties before and it really pimps you out. But any food that gives static gains is going to be better than % foods in general(at a low level, when you get higher in level it's usually the reverse).
Roast mutton/juicy mutton is good for lv15~30 I'd say (grilled hare for 1~15). Thing about most low level foods is they're rarely in stock, at least on my server
Jack-o-Lanterns made leveling Ninja hilariously easy from 1-20 back even in the Zilart-only days.
Rice Dumplings are the perfect pure DD food, but the winner, as already mentioned, is probably Ambrosia, since at such low level, the fairly low, stats scale better with a low level character than a high level character. (IE 7Acc is a bigger impact at level 5 than 50) Quote: Ambrosia Quote: ...my friend is starting from scratch... Surely he would need the abjuration. I am not disputing Ambrosia is best, it is just not available in this example. The thing about jack-o-lanterns is that the way low level leveling has changed, and it's changed drastically. Since you mostly spam mobs lower than you for FoV/GoV pages, the level adjustment kicks in and gives you more accuracy than you'd ever need. Attack will be working for you far more, nearly no matter what you're doing. Same goes for evasion: not only does the level adjustment make evading not really a problem, but so long as you always keep signet up, you'll be seeing high evasion/defense bonuses vs. anything your level and lower.
I'd recommend nothing but attack food for any DD class, and even mage classes that will end up DDing (RDM, etc). I lived off rice dumplings when I was Lvling WAR. It is a great food!!
DD jobs maybe mith-kabobs...mage jobs wizard cookies, yag drinks...but i personaly wouldnt waste the time and resources making food for a job that im just gonna stick in abysea till 99 and then hide in shame for a few days till i can skill it up properly.
When I'm leveling 11~99 I like to make a tuna fish sandwich or perhaps some PBJ. Depends how I feel for that particular day.
