Random Question thread (FFXI related)
Their method for fixing MNK is to add more Martial Arts+ gear. Don't like?
Leviathan.Comeatmebro said: » i'm assuming he means 6000k, which is 200 jp/hr pretty reasonable to do that or higher when you have gifts, would be inclined to call *** if he means starting at 0 gifts though CP wise I wasn't at zero on the two jobs I was CPing on the other day, but then again I wasn't particularly high either. Think I was around 600 on a job and 400 on another. It was a bit less than 200jp/hr. Think more like ~180 iir? Edit: Ooh I wasn't considering breaks, gather time etc, it probably might have been 200jp/hr after all Bismarck.Lennart said: » Do you also have the bonus from furniture Sech? It says "Moghancement: Bounty", so I guess it's weaker since it doesn't have the "mega"?

for the boss kis in vagary that you can trade in for a piece of equip; you have the option of getting a random piece which can include that tarus platmail. If you have other vagary equips in inventory does that take away them as a possible reward from that pool and increase the chance (ever so slightly) of a platemail? Or is it the same odds of getting whether you have 0 equip on that list or all on that list?

Is there a good CP camp that also lets players farm escha beads?
I saw some PL services online that say you'll get close to 50k beads by the time you hit 1200JP. Where are they doing this? The quickest way to get escha beads are still Domain Invastion dragons but since nobody does them reliably (at least on Shiva) outside campaign many people just farm bead pouches from RoE in Escha areas. Pretty much all locations have 1 mob family giving bead pouch and the other giving bead pouches so if you kill a truckload, you will eventually get to 50k (that's over 6.5k pouches on average so over 65k mobs of the bead-giving mobs). Most common camps are puk/dragons or monkeys in Zitah, sharks/aerns in Ru'uan and mosquito/beetle in Reisenjima.

quickest way is generally zitah t3s not dragons
with bead blessing up(lasts 24h, so if you have an organized group you can kill dragon a few times before starting if needed), they are worth 180-191 beads each and the pops are pretty cheap a competent group of 6-12 can kill ~40 T3s in an hour=7200-7640 beads with no worry of evaluations and a shitton of escha+2s and vulcanite ore if you can get the timing down ultra tight such that you kill every dragon in 2-3 min and everyone gets full evaluation it would be better, but never seems to work out that way Leviathan.Comeatmebro said: » quickest way is generally zitah t3s not dragons with bead blessing up(lasts 24h, so if you have an organized group you can kill dragon a few times before starting if needed), they are worth 180-191 beads each and the pops are pretty cheap a competent group of 6-12 can kill ~40 T3s in an hour=7200-7640 beads with no worry of evaluations and a shitton of escha+2s and vulcanite ore Not to mention that killing tons of NM unlocks the Spoils+ vorseal that gives you a much better chance to get a random personal drop off any NM you fight (especially during Geas Fete campaigns) does anyone know if the weather in the SoA areas counts for unlocking smn? i heard it doesnt and that it does lol so any one have any comments ?
ok cool thats what i needed to know thanks!

What are the other drops? Which SK are they trying to fake here?

very easy to modify a packet to make a screenshot that can't be visibly shown false with what's available
i would believe it given it's a big anniversary event, but a single screenshot is not much for proof without any other reports Siren.Kyte

Yes which bc? Someone translate the other drops. Is that a chest drop or mob drop.
Considering the chest drops weren't changed to the best of my knowledge, enemy.
