Hey guys, I've just started working on my BST lately since my NIN is almost done and i'm looking for some advice on what's the best sets to use for Reward, TPing and other sets you guys use.

I've just started working on -PDT axes and i have the MKE head with -10 dmg taken.

If possible could you put your item sets up so I can get a rough idea of what I need?

Pet tanking while you're engaged:

2x pdt axes and a haste/pdt auged helm.

Pet doing all the work(Under Dg latent if not then use Shepherd's Chain/Oneiros Cappa.):

2x pdt axes, haste/pdt auged helm, and body auged for pet.

Reward:

The goal here should be to reach the 50% cap then add as much mnd as possible.

General tp:

If you have dusk gloves+1 you can use those and drop perle for af+2 feet.

Rampage:

Not exactly what I use, but these are just the item sets that I think are decent, minus Reward which is exactly what I use - not sure if it hits cap, but still heals a hefty amount.
Pet PDT - Sollerets with Augments give Pet Haste and DEF. - Call Beast Timer as well. Topaz earrings and rings have Pet: DEF.

Reward

Rampage - Adaman/Armada Hauberk is pretty nice too if you have it.

Primal Rend

TP - 26% Haste or you could switch Ocelot Gloves for Dusk Gloves +1 and keep the Shortbow.

Do you have a screenshot of this? There's seriously a punishing lack of Pet: haste equipment in the game, I'd like to see how much it is.

Do you guys stick to Zeta's or do u use Eta's for reward? Also what kind of numbers do u get out of them?

Sorry for all the questions but I wanna be a good BST not another bandwagon or lolbst.

I've never used Eta's. Zeta's usually do the trick. For me, in Abyssea, it heals for around 1800, I think.

I use zeta > eta in abyssea, too. Main reason being for some fights you use the ducal guard atma. It provides 50% damage taken reduction, but only if your pet is under a ceratin HP percentage.

Now, that means healing the pet can be tricky sometimes, and it is certainly easier to work with the food that gives less HP, it makes "over-curing" less likely.

i use this helm for rampage, just throwin it out there, cheap and easy drop for those who dont have the "nicer" items. pretty good i think. and -acc doesnt really matter since u know WS has added ACC , havent missed a rampage yet, have you? =)

p.s thank you fellow bst for putting ur item sets up and sharing ur info , gave me some new ideas. =D

Reward

You are over reward cap by 3% the earring isn't needed, and you could switch to nq gloves

This is, in my personal opinion, the optimal TP set for BST:

Unless for some reason you don't have your pet out, which would be odd unless it died.

Just fyi, only the FIRST hit on a weaponskill have an accuracy bonus.
Rampage is 5 hits, 6 when dual wielding, so its still -20 acc for all the hits after the first one.
But then again, inside abyssea, unless you'r fighting some really evasive nm, you'll probably be capped on acc anyways.
