Currently at 90.1 cooking. The older guides I've read recommended Tonosama Rice Balls and/or Rice Dumplings to get to 94/5 but neither of them seem to sell well anymore. Rabbit Pie is 94 and sells well but the shrooms are a pain. Then theres Dawn Muslim thats an option at 92 to take to 97.

Basically I want some opinions on what are the better options, both for cost and for speed. I have all KI except Stewpot mastery buy no cooking skill + clothes or furniture (Yes I'm working on the guild items and camping the Hocho NM when time permits).

It's been so long since I got 95 cooking, I forgot what I used for 90-95, sorry. Sweet Rice Cakes should be able to take you from 95-99. Red Curry can get you that last level. You can make the curry into buns, but best of luck on selling them. Not sure about your server, but there's tons of them in the AH on Cerb.

rice dumplings were fairly cheap to make iirc, I used them from 90-95. You could easily do red curry 95-100 thanks to dragon meat being so cheap now.

Yeah I did rice dumplings as well. They never sold well except for maybe 5-6 years ago, but they're very cheap to make.

Edit: since title is 90-100, you're obviously gonna want to do cursed soup/red curry to hit the higher levels.

I honestly find it silly to still be using cursed soup. You can make a lot of profit skilling up on red curry and selling the buns.

Persikos and Ketrons on Leviathan are both 40k a stack so it definatly makes more sence to use red curry than cursed soup, unless I could line up a ton of buyers that all want ambrosia, but thats unlikely.

If you already have guild point items or a hocho, you could do red curry 90-100.

I wish that were the case, i only have the KIs and about 30k in points stored. I could buy the plaque and make the stall with some high synergy friends but i would have to remodle my whole house (currently intense dark aura).

Dawn Mulsum 90-96, then Red Curry (buns) to 100. Profit all the way.

Mulsum is 3k max per synth, sells for 4-6k depending how your server is, and Curry will make you gil too, so long as you don't explode a disproportionate amount.

/sigh it makes me sad how cheap the red curry is to finish cooking nowadays.
I did the sweet rice cakes then finished on cursed soup. which took forever since you'd have to farm the royal jelly and wait for the other mats to show up on ah (which was rarely).
Go for the red curry!

rice dumplings > dawn mulsim > cursed soup

I would do red curry as a last resort. Even if it's "cheaper" now it's next to free to do mulsim and soup if you farm your own ingredients.
